"I did a box dye and it wrecked my hair. It was dry, fuzzy, so damaged, so I went to Arabella and Betsy worked with my hair for 2 1/2 months and she had me use this product called Olaplex and it did wonders to my hair and we highlighted! I will continue to see Betsy she is pretty great!! Thank you Betsy!!!:) before and after picture"
"We’ve had fantastic experiences at Arabella! Betsy has cut and styled my two teen daughters’ hair, and done a fabulous job giving them exactly the (very different from each other) styles they hoped for. If you can make a 15-year-old girl giddy about her haircut, you can please just about anyone. Definitely recommend! Oh, and the kid bath bombs sold in the salon are adorable and great quality."
"My hair cut was just okay. My balayage was really bad - like harsh highlights in the front top only and then orange ombré in the back. I got it fixed elsewhere and ended up asking for a refund. I thought the staff was nice, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. After reading other reviews, it looks like I had a similar experience as someone else that asked for balayage."
"I had gone to this salon as it had a strong review base however I’m afraid that may not be enough to ensure your hair will be done correctly or even decently. I came in with sandy on top (natural) and too gold ends, I asked to have my ends brightened and very minimal highlights on the top as I don’t like what the grow out looks like, I’d rather keep it fairly natural at my roots. I was told that this would be no problem, they would be doing a balayage, and baby highlights at the top for a nice blend and grow out would look natural. I feel like I was duped... the term balayage has me thinking the stylist knows what she was talking about, I took of my glasses and she went to work. How the next few hours went: - I’m unable to see with no glasses however I am noticing large chunks of bleach going into my hair, I even ask for clarification “so how specifically are you making that blended look at the top” and was told again... baby highlights. - conversations between stylists include politics and how if you’re born one gender, you should stick to it... I was even asked what my opinion was. I stayed PC and let my stylist know that I haven’t run into the situation so I didn’t have an opinion... which is false, this shouldn’t be discussed around your clients especially since I’m about 20 years younger than the staff and have much different opinions than them around equal rights and what people should do with their own bodies. Nonetheless... - I already have fairly bleached hair but I was put under the dryer for 30 minutes with her checking on me once in between her conversations with other stylists... my head was on fire. - She proceeds to take the fools out, even without my glasses I could see yellow/white hair up to my roots in large chunks... however I think to myself “let’s just see what it looks like dry”, I ask if any toner is going to be used and she let me know that she’ll see how it turns out. - As she is drying my hair she states that she likes to dry the sides first so I can see the color and if I don’t want to see there all day I don’t have to, I don’t say anything because ummm I’m paying you money why wouldn’t I want my hair dried at the very least? I started to see this color is just not what I asked for but the stylist mentioned in the beginning of the session she is a perfectionist and wants everyone to be so happy with their hair, I figure ok this isn’t because she was being negligent, she just doesn’t know what she is doing with popular coloring techniques. She then doesn’t even blow dry my hair fully and says I’m good to go... what?! - I leave the salon knowing I’m not happy, paying over $100, and already booking an appointment at a high end salon to fix this mess. I wasn’t going to say anything (not even when one of my staff at work said I look like I have highlights from the early 2000s) UNTIL my stylist tells me how shocked she is that I paid to have my hair look like how I came in... not only how it looks but she took photos of what the color looked like underneath the surface and she told me I needed to get my money back if not more for the damage done to my hair. - I am attaching photos of what I asked for and what I was given on Yelp or wherever it actually let’s me (including the terrible coloring done under the top layer of my hair). Idk who is giving this salon top ratings... to be fair the clientele I saw when coming in was not like myself and although I’m sure the salon is great at a lot... coloring hair with techniques from 2015 and up doesn’t seem to be one of them... young professionals... be weary of the salon. If you’re going to pay the money, go somewhere with portfolios of their work and a strong coloring knowledge!!"
"Inwas given a gift certificate for a pedicure and it was just what I needed! Erika is extremely meticulous and took a layer of dead/rough skin off my heel. It was a fantastic pedicure!"
