"Do not go here! This is the worst dentist ever. I went there for the first (and last) time back in October 2023. Everytime i think about this place, it makes me so angry all over again. I figure i owe them a raving review of how much they suck. First off, someone sat me down and ask about my history ect. Then they have me go somewhere else to take a million xrays that last longer than the actual "cleaning". Dentist comes in and talks to me and pokes around my mouth for less than 5 min. Then says they will polish my teeth and I'll be on my way. They never did scale (scrape) my teeth and when I ask about it, they said they did like I am an idiot. I know when my teeth have been cleaned or not. They felt disgusting after I left full of surface stains that usually come off after a dental cleaning. They also tried to tell me my titanium fillings need to be replaced. I've only had them for 5 years. All they care about it drumming out money for unneeded dental work. DO NOT GO HERE! I go home and immediately find a more reputable dentist. I schedule an appt for 3 weeks and they tell me my teeth do not look like they had seen a dentist 3 weeks ago. They clean my teeth, removed surface stains off and I go home feeling great. My new dentist says titanium fillings should last a long long time and do not need to be replaced. Very happy with my new place and I will never step foot at Richfield "Dentistry"again. I would give 0 stars if I could."
"Starting this off by saying i personally feel like mike (i believe that is his name) deserves to work for a better company. through this whole process he has been more than willing to help me with everything which has been super helpful and kind of him which i really do appreciate, but over all this business lacks in communication skills. they 1, changed my appointment time, didn’t tell me about it. 2, told me multiple different things over the phone and in person about my appointment and what could be done and what couldn’t. and 3, the day of my appointment my doctor told me he cannot do what i want done, because he is only there a couple days a month and it would be something that would take multiple appointments, while the whole three weeks my appointment has been made for it said exactly what i had planned with a previous doctor here who doesn’t work there anymore, so if they could see the plan, why would i be scheduled with someone who cannot do it? but i will definitely be fining a new place to go."
"Long story short they told me at my first appointment that I needed $15,000 worth of work done- a deep clean and 2 root canals. After seeking a second opinion AND a third, it turns out the only thing I need done is a deep clean. But wait, there's more! The dentists I went to afterwards quoted the same work. Total? $5,0000. Stay far, far away from this place. The $100 I put as a down payment for the 2 root canals I "needed" is money I won't be getting back. Don't make the same mistake."
"Previously, I would have recommended this place. Within the last couple years or so, however, we've had nothing but problems. There is a LOT of turnover in the dentists. The work I've had done hasn't been great... I almost always have to go back (sometimes multiple times) to get things adjusted. This has never happened to me at other dentists. It's especially insulting because I've told the dentist while I was there that the bite was off, and he simply told me to give it time. Nope. Time didn't help. Worse still, amongst all five members of our family we've had multiple crowns fall out. Never in our lives have we had crowns fall out, and now suddenly we've had 4 fall out? We weren't even eating toffee or something particularly chewy. Literally 100% of the crowns we've had placed by richfield dentistry have fallen out within a few years. They are ALWAYS finding work to be done. Call me crazy, but I almost never required anything special at my previous dentist. Now, every time a family member goes in they say we desperately need something or other. A filling, a crown, a root canal, special gum cleaning, saliva testing... you name it! I have no proof, but I swear they say you need stuff that you don't or imply a level of urgency to things that isn't necessary. A trip to this dental office always takes forever. I don't think I've ever been taken immediately back and then worked on. There is ALWAYS a wait, whether it be in the waiting room or sitting in the chair. Ive always had an appointment, but this still happens. Expect to be there for hours, no exagerration. I don't know what happened when Dr Perpich left, but it hasn't been good. Avoid Richfield Dentistry and find someplace else. We have no regrets about switching to a new provider."
"The $59 new patient special is only for people who were able to afford consistent dental care and don’t need any dental work. I went in after 10 years of being afraid of how much it would cost to clean my teeth, I saw the new patient special and felt so much relief that I would finally have confidence in my smile, anyway I ended up spending over $600. I’m honestly still confused and upset and I feel taken advantage of and having to spend all my money right before the holidays. They will find other things and make you pay for that before the deep clean. Even when I asked if I can get the other things done another time, I was told they can’t deep clean my teeth until the other things were taken care of. Anyway, The staff was great, but don’t expect to pay $59 for a deep clean."
