"When Dr. Froeber ran this practice I would have given them a 1000 star review, she (+ the staff) are some of the most kind and understanding people I have ever met. I went for my first checkup after the practice was sold and while I had a great experience with the rest of the staff, Dr. Lee is not a good fit for me and likely I presume not for others unless he can improve on his ability to communicate. He looked at my mouth and said I suddenly had 8+ cavities, which is odd because I had been to a dentist/periodontist every three months for the last year and nobody had said anything. When asked what changed he struggled to communicate why and ultimately just said to me, “I’m not very good at this communication thing, I am more just of a clinician”. I ended up going to a different dentist for a second opinion and in their opinion I had zero cavities, just stains and pits that can be monitored over time. That means that both this new dentist, and my previous dentist, agreed that there were no cavities but Dr. Lee disagreed. I don’t think there is any malice on Dr. Lee’s part, just he is overly aggressive to do work. I think this could be influenced by him recently taking over the practice, perhaps his lack of experience, and his struggles to meet people where they are at. Overall I highly recommend people don’t go here and find another dentist."

"This is a bit delayed of a review, but thought necessary to post this after seeing another recent review describing a situation similar to what I experienced. Froeber Dentisty is close to my home, so I decided this would be a great option to establish care at. I am very particular about my dental hygiene, and have always gone to the dentist religiously. 6 months prior to my visit at this practice, I had my regular checkup and cleaning at a different practice. At this visit, I was told I had no cavities or issues. I was a bit taken aback at my first visit to Froeber; they told me I had 4 cavities that need to be filled. I thought this was odd as I had no issues/cavities 6 months ago. I decided to get not only one, but two additional opinions from other dentists in Minneapolis, both of which said I had no cavities. I’d be wary."

"Dr. Froeber and her practice is at best incompetent and at worst one big scam. I’m a student and wanted to establish care closer to my apartment. I was told my initial visit would be a consultation appointment where they checked my teeth to see if they needed extra work besides a cleaning. I thought this was odd as I’ve been religious about my dental care and have never had any issues. During my appointment, they told me I had gingivitis (gum disease) and needed a couple thousand dollars worth of painful cleaning procedures. I was devastated and so confused as I didn’t have any of the symptoms, the risk factors and my previous dentist never said this was an issue. I decided to get a second opinion before committing to the procedure. Fast forward to 3 dentists and 2 dental hygienists later who have all confirmed that I do NOT in fact have gum disease I have realized Dr. Froeber tried to scam me. I even made a report to my insurance company as they already started the process for authorization even though I hadn’t told them to do so. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I suffered from weeks of anxiety thinking I had a chronic illness and now have severe trust issues when it comes to dental care. Choose a better, more ethical practice."

"Have you ever once in your life honestly thought to yourself, "I'm so excited to go to the dentist!", probably fricken never! Well it sounds crazy but I can honestly say that now I'm absolutely thrilled to go to the dentist since I started going to Patty and her team. Even when it means I'm about to have a drill put to bone, I know I'll be well taken care of and never once made feel guilty for my past. Sincerely, I didn't realize until going to Froeber that never once did a dentist in my past make me feel like my teeth were worth taking care of. Past dentists were always incredibly judgmental, repeated the same well known information, and I always left feeling like why should I even try if it's all going to hell anyways. Patty and her team are as literal of an opposite from that reality as possible. From my first visit, I was so warmly met and treated for. They greeted my somewhat spotty past with going to the dentist (mostly just never before having good insurance) with grace, understanding, and genuine empathy. On top of that, what is normally a "bad news" portion of the dentist (when they tell you what work needs to be done, etc...) the whole experience felt like good news, here's what we can do to improve! Since then, I've had two fillings, two hardcore cleanings (much needed) and will be going back to Patty and her team as frequently as my insurance allows! Beyond all the positive energy, non-judgmental staff, and incredibly skilled and fast treatment, they give you realistic tangible ways to improve your dental health. I've never in my life felt so good about my teeth and so motivated to take care of them moving forward! I truly can't express the deeper level of confidence it gave me to feel good about my dental health. That stuff can really mess with you and Patty and her team sincerely put me on a whole other level of relating to my teeth and my dentist. Do yourself a favor a book an appointment with Patty, it'll honestly change your life. Thank you Patty and team!"
