"We made a spontaneous stop too grab food on our way home and I'm so glad we did. The catfish was spot on, the jumbo shrimp were cooked to crispy perfection and the hushpuppies were delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The building is very small and old but clean and well decorated. We will absolutely be back and you should try it too!"

"This was our first time trying Bubba’s and we were so looking forward to it! I have to say customer service was very nice. Kind people and served with a smile. The food however was not up to par. The boudin balls were not balls and I don’t know if it was cooked in old grease but it was not that pleasant. My husband couldn’t even finish his fish plate. The fries were not fresh and the chicken platter I had was double fried so it was hard. None of the food we ordered was finished and I hate to say it, but, I don’t think we will return to another Bubba’s. I couldn’t really speak on the atmosphere because we sat in the car and waited for the order."

"Absolutely DELICIOUS! They have great prices and we were able to feed two adults, one toddler, and an infant for under $30. You can’t beat that. Plus did I mention that the food was amazing? We had a sampler and got catfish, fried crawfish tails, fried shrimp, French fries and coleslaw. We added a side order or beans (which were fantastic) and fried okra. The owner (?) even gave us a sample of the boiled shrimp which were cooked perfectly. If you are debating going here don’t. Just go."
