"Went in for migraine and blurry vision in the right eye. Was tested for glaucoma which was negative and then given a Benadryl shot in the thigh region. The shot was left on the bed I was laying on. So far I'm being charged $400 for this. I had a photo of the shot laying on the bed, but it was removed from all accounts for an unknown reason."

"Update: I received a call from the billing dept again 10/24/23 where I'm instructed to make payment. I tell them I paid 9/11/23 and they reply they have no record. I've got the receipt so they have me email them a copy. Today, 2/9/24, almost 8 months past my appt and 3+ months after submitting the receipt, I get another call demanding payment and we go through this again just for me to discover they refunded the payment I made on 11/5/23. I truly don't understand how anyone runs a business like this. This level of irresponsibility with regards to other peoples time and money shows a lack of care I can only hope doesn't extend to the actual medical side of this hospital. Original post 9/22/23 I didn't have any problems with my visit on 8/11/23, but their billing dept is extremely aggressive, to the point of harassing. I received my bill 9/11/23 and paid that day via my ins/HSA online. It's currently 9/22/23 and I'm already receiving phone calls about payment. I got 11 days of the typical 30 before they began calling me. When I called to verify that it was from lack of payment 11 days after receipt of the bill and to make them aware that 1 it's been ELEVEN days and 2. payment will be processed by 10/1/23, I was informed the calls about lack of payment likely won't stop until payment is received, but I can disregard them. Like I said, aggressive. Again, the service I received there was adequate, but if possible, I'd recommend going elsewhere to avoid harassment over failing to pay less than 2 months from the date seen and less than 2 weeks of received a statement."
"I gave birth in secret at the hospital due to a violent ex and had security and a code word for all visitors. The staff did not follow protocol or require the code to be said for anyone to enter my room. They switched my paperwork with someone else’s and had me sign for a baby that wasn’t mine. The postpartum nurse laughed in my face and yelled at me for being confused because she wasn’t following my discharge plan. Nurse Gina was the ONLY reason my family didn’t raise hell. Absolutely despicable behavior from trained professionals."
"I had to take my 18 year old son to the ER for passing out this past Sunday. We arrived at around 9:30am. When we arrived there was only one other person in the waiting room. That being said I was prepared to still wait a good hour before being seen. We were seen in less than 15 minutes. Upon entering the room we were seen by the nurse in 5 minutes and immediately routed to CT Scan and EKG along with a round of others tests and a liquid IV by the doctor. Standard protocol but with the utmost degree of kindness concern and care. The bedside manner of the doctor on duty was unmatched. The room and facilities were clean. They said that they were going to rule out all the “scary stuff” and give me and my son some resolve and relief they did a test where they measures his blood pressure when he was laying and standing and it was determined that he had what appears to be Orthostatic Hypotension. All his other blood work and test came out good. No anemia, no dehydration, no blood sugar issues, brain waves good… praise the lord. They asked that we increase salt and electrolytes in between following up with our PCP. I say all this to say it was THE BEST experience possible based on the circumstances. Thanks for treating us like a dear loved one and not just another random number. Thanks for saying please and thank you. Thanks for looking us in the eye and listening and responding to each concern. You all do a FABULOUS job and you deserve more credit. More people who have great experiences should post. Far too often the only voices heard are negative."
