Reviews
"I had a CT scan done at Mercy Waldron. When I went to see the surgeon in Little Rock, he discovered someone elses CT scan was on my disc! This is a HIPPA violation as well as potentially causing a serious error in my care."
"Dr. Elizabeth Hutson is extremely nice, understanding, and she'll help you with finding out things that you're concerned about with you. And she'll be honest with you if she doesn't know the answer to certain things."
"My 8years old daughter had a fever last night and her temperature was 102°f. Her skin rashes all over her body. We rushed to the ER to get the doctor's help from 20 miles away. We arrived at 6:20 pm and done the registration at 6:30pm. We wait until 9:40pm but we were not called to see the doctor, then we left without any help. We barely sleep the night because of her skin rash itching. So sad.."
"First I would like to state that I am empathetic to the current situation in healthcare and the country in general concerning labor shortages and overworked staff. I would also like to mention that i'm sure there are people at this facility that do care but my families last experience did not reflect this. My grandfather was admitted on an emergency basis with breathing issues - he was initially diagnosed with a mild case of pneumonia and a mild heart attack. An initial covid test was done and came back negative - to which the nurse said "Oh no one hardly ever comes back positive after a negative for the initial test. While waiting for the PCR people were allowed in without gowns or masks. During his stay he was administered large doses of lasix with no IV fluid therapy. After several up and down nights we were told that the best thing to do was to keep him comfortable and that he would not make it through this ordeal. As a family who was distraught we trusted the attending physician. My father was called to the hospital multiple nights stating low oxygen (it was found once that he had pulled his nasal oxygen over night and no one had checked on him). When comfort care was discussed it was assumed that morphine and oxygen therapy would be the basic and most comfortable way for my grandfather. It was noted later that they still continued to give him IV antibiotics but no IV fluids. What is the point of antibiotics in a man who is dying? We were told they were to "keep him comfortable". My father was also told that only two people could be present when he passed and after a scene this was redacted by the attending physician. A conversation was had between the family that antibiotics were not necessary and when this was brought up to the staff - they just said "Oh we are not giving them don't worry". They had just magically decided it was time to stop antibiotics in a dying man with no discussion from the family. Later that night it was also disclosed that the nurses were no longer going to administer morphine because of the issues with respiration. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! My grandfather was dying - later to be determined via covid and kidney failure and they were worried about respiratory depression from morphine. When my grandfather finally passed my father was called down and came into a room where they did not even have the decency to place a blanket over his body - distressing and shocking to an already mourning family. This hospital by far has been one of the worst experiences I could ever imagine a person going through. Not only did my grandfather suffer but his family suffered. Please if you value your family take your loved ones to a more reputable facility."
