"I went there to get my hair and makeup done for a fashion show that same day. The lady doing my hair was quite nice and made my hair look great, she made sure to ask whether I would be wearing a hat and then made sure my hair would work with it. Unfortunately then I got my makeup done and it was real rough. The eyeliner was poorly applied and horrifically clumpy and never dried, even 3+ hours later it was still getting on my cheeks. It was bad enough that I ran home before the show to remove it and reapply the makeup myself. Long Story Short: if you go, go for hair, avoid makeup like the plague"

"Salon Sartor is one of my favorite places to be! Sometimes 6-8 weeks isn't frequent enough because I can't seem to stay away. They are always so accommodating when you are waiting, they are very timely, and they always give you their undivided attention and make sure to understand what your end goal is for your hair. Bonus: you can enjoy a glass of wine while you process! Who can say no to that? I'm a lifer when it comes to Salon Sartor and I will always recommend this salon my friends."

"I have dyed dark hair that I am lightening to blonde, it is a slow process. I went to Salon Sartor for my second round of lightening and I was extremely unsatisfied with the job Denise did (owner). I later contacted Denise requesting a refund, and she stated that the level of lightening achieved was impresive for one sitting, and I really should have paid more for the amount of foils she use - yet half my head is still brown. I would have been satisfied with a partial refund, but her only fix was to have me come in and tone it and add a few extra foils.. Not only was I not comfortable having it corrected at that salon, I had already needed to go to another salon the next day (Sunday) and pay an additional $60 to have it corrected so it looked presentable enough to go to work the next day. I would not recommend this salon for the simple fact that the owner can't even honor the mission statement, it's poor business and she should have handled it better. I've since received great customer service and had an overall positive experience at Simonson Salon and Spa in Maple Grove."
