J.O. Kelly Middle School

"I've had 4 children go thru this school and my husband and I have finally had enough. They do nothing about bullies, except let them get away with it! The principal lies to parents!!! They called and told us our son was missing from school, that the cops were looking for him. He was at school the whole time and they never called to let us know he was safe, we didn't find out until we got there. No apologies, nothing except threats!!! Went to the school district to get some help and nope they won't do anything. The 504 coordinator over the middle school was kind enough to tell my husband and I about all the people they send to court on fins petitions, sending parents to jail. Gee I thought he was there to help our child. Oh yeah, he also couldn't believe we didn't have our child on 3 or 5 different meds. OMG!! What are these people thinking! All I can say is we have had enough of the threads and lies, we pulled our child from this school. We are now looking into selling our home that we have lived in for 10 years, raised our children in, because we no longer trust this school district"

"This is the WORST school EVER! The teachers are cool, but if your child is being bullied, he is screwed. I cried my eyes out everyday and even had the bullies circle up around me and they didn't do NOTHING about it. AND THERE WAS TEACHERS WATCHING THE WHOLE TIME THEY WERE IN MY FACE!! I went to the office crying several times, because of this and they didn't do anything!! I am letting out my anger and frustration on this comment, if you can't tell. God bless you America!"

"This school is absolutely ridiculous, anytime they tell your child he cannot eat breakfast or lunch and rather see he/she starve instead of notifying the parents that the child need more money in their school account. How could you work at a public place and don't care about the children. Absolutely horrible."

"Worst school I have ever attended. I can't say much, seeing as i haven't attended any other middle school. But as it stands, horrible faculty and kids."
