"First visit since a change in ownership. I was surprised to find fried meat in my hot springs roll. My meal didn't come until most if my companions had finished their meals. I found that strange. The food was ok but not what I expected having eaten their with the previous owner. Good for a change but don't get your expectations up too high."

"Our host had nothing but great things to say about Rieki's, so we decided to visit for dinner. The portions were large for a decent price, and the food was delicious. My Hibachi chicken had a yummy teriyaki sauce with it."

"I never know if I'm going to get great food or meh food when I go here. It's just not consistent. The sushi is prepared fresh, and it's usually very good. The soup they offer before the meal is not good at all, like dirty dishwater. Which is a shame, because I love a good miso. The rest of the menu is hit and miss. There aren't a lot of choices in this town, so we usually end up going back."

"A most uncommon setting for a sushi restaurant in a very unexpected place makes this kinda hard to rate. Set like a lunch counter but with service (good service), the menu appears to be large but stuff appears to be missing from menu and stuff from menu appears to be missing so choose carefully. I tried the safe choices - salmon and tuna rolls and both were decent and filling. Ask to go easy/delete spicy mayo. That stuff was overdone on every roll I had. Without the spicy mayo, the fish had a chance to shine, and the fish was fresh and good. Stay away from anything fried or stir fried- the oil didn’t seem right and the shrimp tempura one day and stir-fried noodles the next day both had a bitter taste from the oil. Overall, a good choice in a town that doesn’t offer much in the way of lunch choices."

"For the whole in the wall that this place is, not too bad. My lady got a California roll and it was nicer than the typical California roll. Spicy mayo and masgo topping on a California roll?!? Noice. I got the Emperor and had to much cottage cheese for my liking however it was good. I also got the streak stir fry and the steak was dry and minced into really small pieces and was expecting bigger steak slices. The stir fry was good and fresh. If you're a local, I recommend this place. If you're not local, don't be fooled by the other reviews cause you'll be disappointed cause it's not the best. Please do go support local restaurants. I am glad I did."
