"Mt Ida is such a unique little town. It may be small but they have some of the best food! I had a pulled pork sandwich because the waitress recommended it. I know why! Some of the BEST smoked pork I've ever eaten! Very friendly staff, which is getting hard to find."

"Our party had the western omelette, scrambled and over easy eggs, sausage and bacon. The food that we had was fair to good but the coffee was some of the worst I've ever had. The decor is a poor man's Cracker Barrel style with antique farm equipment stuck to the walls... including the very dark and cramped bathrooms. The saving grace is the service. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and the food was delivered quite quickly."

"I was so happy that the cafe was still open. I ate there when I was in first grade, some 60 years ago. I had changed, but it still has the vibe for me. My family always stopped here for lunch after a week or two of camping at Deer Creek. The food and service were great. I ate breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. If it was 60 miles further south, I could have chocolate gravy."
