"We stopped in around 3pm for a late lunch with a group of six. After reviewing the massive menu we ordered at one of the two outdoor windows before grabbing a few tables inside. I got the double cheeseburger combo and that burger is awesome... Comes loaded with red onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mayo with a side of fresh, hot fries and a medium drink. It was perfect, but I couldn't help but glance over at the fried catfish that another member of the group ordered... There are about six picnic tables outside if you want to enjoy the nice weather, but no matter where you sit save room for that ice cream cone for dessert! Parking in front and along the left side of the building can get full because this place is awesome! Well worth the stop when you're in the area visiting or simply driving through."

"We came from Houston to dig some crystals and ended up staying at a rental in Mt. Ida. The first day we went to a local cafe and then wished we hadn’t. But this place, they are amazing. My wife and I ordered a cheeseburger(I got a double), and the kids had chicken nuggets. We also ordered some fried pickles which were better than most in Texas. All that wonderful food was quickly followed up with various milk shakes. Service was great, food was fantastic, and the outside seating was great. Thanks for the food!"

"Good old fashioned food! Not the fastest but it’s fresh and correctly made to order- well worth the wait! Their homemade fries are divine, the burger is high quality with fresh veggies, and the butterscotch shake I had was the perfect pairing! This is a great little stop- I highly recommend it! If I ever pass through again I will stop here again!"
