Neumeier's Whippoorwill Restaurant

"First, we ordered our food after being there for about 20 minutes at the least busiest time of day. Second, after ordering our food it was brought to our table in less than 10 minutes (normal for fast food), this is a sit-down restaurant so you would think your food is made fresh. Third, my boyfriend ordered their meatloaf dinner but the meatloaf itself was not fully cooked, I ordered the Salisbury steak dinner, and my meat was dry and not fresh. Also, we ordered Sweet Tea when we were finally waited on by the waitress and were brought unsweet tea like I said about 20 minutes after we ordered them. I had also ordered an extra side of fried okra which I had to ask for again because it was not brought with my food. I had almost finished my plate by the time I got my extra side. I will not be going back to this establishment. It gives the owners a bad name and I know their other two establishments have amazing food. The whole restaurant smelled dirty, the area around the bathrooms had a sewer smell to it which is also near the kitchen. The only good thing about this place was all the televisions with different programs on each one."

"I had the pleasure of visiting Neumeier's Whipporwhill Restaurant last month! I had heard about this restaurant opening and I had been wanting to try it for a long time. The atmosphere is inviting and unique! Our servers were friendly and kind. I thought that the service was timely! I had ordered the Small, Chicken Fried Steak Lunch Special for $9.99. I would like to order it again and see what the large portion is! I really enjoyed the gravy. The mashed potatoes had a little more garlic than what I was expecting, and I would love to come back and order them again! I had an overall positive experience and look forward to coming back to try some other things on the menu. Thank you, Neumier's!"

"First time in! Loved the atmosphere. The decor and the live music. The flavor of the food was excellent! Loved the chicken with Swiss cheese and cornbread dressing. The only thing that kept the food from getting 5 stars was that it was lukewarm and by the time you were even halfway through eating, it was cold. Prices for the entire package were good. We will definitely try it again but, for a Friday night and not being very busy...food needs to be much warmer on delivery to the table."

"Hand crafted country home cooking goodness! I enjoyed the hand battered chicken fingers, side salad and sweet potato casserole. My friends had the mushroom Swiss burger and two chose the meatloaf. Our waiter kept our drinks full and made sure we felt at home. There was a band setting up for live music starting at 7pm on a Saturday night."
