"We were driving back from a spring break excursion and happened upon this restaurant. Our fellow family traveller said it was good and we liked it! We grabbed a variety of sandwiches and also tried the onion rings and chili cheese fries. We enjoyed all of them. I had to read up and there is one in Wylie, TX so not terribly far from home. We will definitely have to go back for more as I didn't get to try the chili cheese hotdog which looked really yummy too."

"Good food and quick service. Pretty much everything we have tried has been good. Patty melts are a greasy but awesome. Good fries and ice cream as well. This location has gotten a lot better over time. All the servers we have dealt with have been super polite."

"The larger woman running the front ignored me when I walked up to get my custard. She did seem busy, but at least in California even if staff are busy somewhere they are at least supposed to ask for a moment and acknowledge you are there. She kept walking past me and didn't say anything. Had to ask the taller skinny guy on his BREAK if he knew what was going on, so he got up and had to basically tell her himself. Kinda a weird experience as far as service. The burger was alright. The custard is really amazing, has a better texture than ice cream and a better older fashioned vanilla flavor. The custard was good enough that if I ever see another Freddie's I'd stop by, despite the weird service experience."
