"Every moment from the Hostess at the front door, to the Pastry Chef (Chris) delivering our dessert was amazing. Josh, our server, made us feel immediately at ease, and informed us on every detail in our dish. We participated in the Chef's tasting, and it did not disappoint! 5 courses for two, was MORE than enough food, and we left absolutely amazed. If you haven't tried Theos, or it's been a while, you're missing out!!"
"Excellent food and excellent service await you at Theo’s. Ideal place for a special evening or celebrating. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was very tasty. We tried a lot of items and we liked them all. If you order the bones on toast, be sure to try the bone luge after you clear out that yummy marrow. What’s a bone luge you ask? A shot of whiskey poured down the bone and right into your mouth! All the salt and fat mix with the whiskey for a delicious shot. Just be careful not to get grease or whiskey all over yourself. I was able to keep my shirt clean!"
"My husband and I dined here for our wedding anniversary. We arrived fairly early for our RSVP, but did not have to wait to be seated. The setting was beautiful. Our server was Josh and he was kind and did not rush us the entire night. He had excellent recommendations. Every menu item we tried was phenomenal, from appetizer to dessert. We will definitely be back!"
"My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at Theo’s. We had reservations for the dining room. I will say, the dining room had a very different vibe than the lounge and patio. It was formal and exactly what we were looking for. If you desire a casual atmosphere to have drinks, I recommend the patio or lounge area. As for the food - we consumed the best scallops we’ve ever had. My ribeye was an excellent cut of meat and rare just like I wanted it. The wife’s lobster Mac n cheese was decadent! Service was impeccable. I wouldn’t change a thing about this place!"
"Theo’s certainly lived up to it’s reputation for my first (and probably only) visit. It is definitely a nice restaurant, and probably the finest in town. We were unable to secure a table trying to get a reservation for a weekend and calling as they opened at 5 PM. So obviously, it’s a popular place. We did get a “bar table” on the bar side of the restaurant that still had great service and allowed us to order off the dinner menu. The service, as I said, was great. The food was good. We had a couple of appetizers (really liked the tuna nachos). My pork chops were very good as well. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes and the dessert was good (chocolate crème brûlée). As I said, it lived up to expectations-everything was good/great except for the prices. You have to try things once. It’s really hard for me to say the my $40 pork chops were “that much” better than the $25 pork chops I could get at a lot of other places. I actually wanted the steak but couldn’t pull the trigger on the $70 price tag. That really comes down to taste and affordability preferences. Maybe another visit on a special day would make it a different story and an actual table at the restaurant, but I guess we will see. Most of the menu options add some “fancy items” on it that didn’t sound all that appealing to me. Again, it’s about taste preferences (and price)."
