"If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is despicable. They will give you the run around and like so many others have said do less than the bare minimum of what they are required. The first red flag was when I sent all the registration documents via email all she responded was “Thank you”, i assumed that all was good to go since she did not say anything else. I however had a feeling and followed up 2 days later, and asked if there was anything else missing or what would be the next step in the process. She then stated she needed all the documents and that none of them I sent the 2 days prior had shown for her. I was in disbelief, had I not asked I wouldn’t have known and my kids enrollment would still be at a stand still. The 2nd red flag, my kids both have mandated IEPs transferring from out of state. Throughout the enrollment process I spoke with Carmen who I expressed to many times the importance of the IEPs being reviewed especially for my son since he is low functioning autistic and non-verbal. I specifically indicated to her numerous of times that he could not be put in anything other than a special education contained setting. Her response was that the Special Education Department handles that and that if it was checked off in the system they’d contact me. It was checked off for both kids! My daughters assigned school calls first and the B***S starts, the administrator started to give me the details of the start date and etc. of course I asked to confirm if the IEP had been reviewed. It hadn’t because it was never received, I sent it to her no problem. I then contacted Carmen and informed her of my interaction with my daughters school and that they weren’t aware of her IEP. I proceeded to ask her for my sons school assignment and to confirm that he was being placed in the correct setting. I also asked her about the extended day program as my daughters school indicated that enrollment for that would be through the enrollment center. She responded with my DAUGHTERS school information which I already had and the same spew about the IEP special education department. I then responded and asked for the special education department contact information, my sons school assignment and informed her that I was displeased with getting the run around. She NEVER responded. I get the call from my sons school on Sunday and the same s*** I had to inform the administrator that the class he was assigned to would not work because of his circumstances. She did not have his IEP either. Now my thing is that these people are playing with our kids livelihood. Had I not been proactive my son could have gotten hurt or vice versa. If you hate your job get out of the child education industry. I was later informed by the administrator, principal, and vice principal at my daughters school that the Union system has some type of glitch. That kids had been enrolled with IEPs and that because they weren't seeing it the kids were being place without it. This is something that they should notify every parent of especially if it’s preventing important records from transferring over to the delegated schools , that is detrimental to a child’s safety. Parents please be vigilant and confirm this information because the “enrollment center” could care less. Not to mention that I called this lady and she didn’t call back during the enrollment process."
"Two staffs here have the audacity to tell me that they did an investigation by rolling by my house to verify if i live there or not, AND THEY DIDN’T SEE ME AT HOME. No S#it, people work and leave their houses during the day. Maybe you should’ve knocked?!? You wanna come in to my house and see where my child sleeps before allowing her to go to this low-class district?"
"WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! I completely enrolled my kid on August 12th with ALL of his paperwork. He was not able to go to school on the first day because his paperwork was still not processed! The first day of school was Thursday, August 17th. I have yet to get a confirmation for when my kid will be able to start school. Today is August 19th, 2022. I understand that now, I am waiting for Owasso Public Schools to sent my son's transcript. Even though I've already went up there in person and asked for it! They gave me his Historical Grades and said that Union needs to sent for his transcript, which they already have done. They had so many other parents up there. I can only imagine the frustration they must have! I tried calling the enrollment center so many times but nobody would answer the phone so I had to go up there to figure out what is taking so long to process his enrollment paperwork. Union should have a better way of communicating with parents about the issues they are having. I hope next year they learn from these mistakes so this doesn't happen again!"
"Not very pleased at all. Gave my family the run around and not enough detail. My kids were told they were good to go to school later to find out when they got there that there wasn't anyway the kids could stay in class because the enrollment failed to tell me that I there was a piece of paper I had to sign verifying the kids lived in my home I don't enjoy waisting my time because of the lack of information. So now my kids are behind because of your mistake. Not pleased with the amount of staff. Totally ridiculous making me wait 3 hours for my signature. Next time make sure you give me all the proper information before telling me the kids are good to go."
"The only person that spoke Spanish a lady with short hair is really really rude looks like she doesn’t even like her job treated us with really rude attitude! Next time I will have to go with a person in English and translate for my mom"
