"We waited 10 minutes to be waited on for drinks. Then 5 minutes to place our food order. When the food arrived 20 minutes later. The ticket was left on the table. Also waited for more water. That waitress was horrible. I would recommend she be retrained or consider letting go. Being free pie night, we had to ask the young man that checked us if it was free pie night. He took care of us. We did not see any management. Normally I would recommend this place. But under these conditions I don’t."

"Food is good, not anything to write home to mom about. It takes a little longer to get the food from the kitchen to the table then it should, I mean 35 minute wait just for 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. My assumption is they must have had to Google how to make a grilled cheese sandwich and then ended up You tubing it. The service is okay also nothing to write home to mom about. We went on Wednesday because of the free pie, and was not impressed, the pie definitely was a fresh, and we only had a few options for flavors. We thought we could get a couple slices of pecan pie but that wasn't an option for Free Pie Wednesday."

"Great visit to Arkansas and great visit to Village Inn. Food was hot, fresh and fast. Server took care of us and offered great feedback on the menu. Definitely be back . I had the chicken fried steak. It appeared to be a frozen patty but it had great flavor. Well portion and very fresh. I would order it again. Wife had a All World double burger with all the fixings. It was very very good, she couldn't finish it. Dad had the Carnitas bfast platter and mom had bacon & eggs with french toast. The monkey wrench on the visit was the picture of the fish and chips we saw on the way in. We got curious and decided to order that as an appetizer for everyone to try. Good move on our part. It was absolutely delicious. Beer battered white fish with fries and tarter sauce. Definitely order again. This was a good visit, definitely be back./ 9-15-2023 visit for breakfast. Food definitely didn't disappoint, service was not that great. The server wasn't rude, she just never came to check on us. I think I got up like 5 times to serve myself or call her. Needed extra sugar, coffee napkins, silverware, water and a to go box. Not sure if she was new but It wasn't the service we had there before. Other thank that, good visit with the family before hitting the road back home. Had the chicken fried steak special with cakes, wife had fish and chips dad had huevos rancheros. Mom had a traditional bfast, sister had fish and chips also and BIL had the hamburger steak. Everything was well served, hot and fresh. Although we noticed it took a little longer than normal to get our food"
