"The guy was prompt, very good customer service. Worked out quickly what I might need. He was very knowledgeable and really gave me a great fitting boot, in the style I liked. We went over soles and he recommended the right ones I do believe. It’s a first time for me getting red wing boots and it was excellent. Really like how they fit work all day standing on feet at O’Reilly Auto. Not enough I could say about the salesman. I will be coming back for more, might be the only place I stop for boots in future, due to how good everything worked and was solved for me. Also love the foot machine, really gave me some perspective."

"The guy who was working acted like I was an inconvenience, even though I was the only customer in the store just after opening. I knew exactly which boots I wanted and exactly what size… I’ve had about 10 pair in the past. Then I asked for 5 hooks on each side. Waited over a week for the hooks to be installed. When I picked them up, there were only 4… the note on the box had a scribbled out 5 and a 4 written."

I was offered to try both women and men’s as I liked. I had access to a fair offer on a discontinued boot, but I had my eye on a specific style this time. Several other customers came in but my salesman was very helpful to my many questions. "This is a Red Wing company store situated on the west end of Hopkins along the south side of Excelsior Blvd. This is an old school American shoe store catering to the footwear needs of serious trade persons and offering a good selection of the latest Red Wing Heritage boots and shoes for men and women. Though unassuming from the outside, the store has an extensive display and healthy inventory. I have appreciated the expertise of the store manager and staff as they have to tools and knowledge to advise best fit for their products. It is easy to drop in and to know what size Iron Ranger boot is your best fit. Parking is available out front and the customer capacity policies are posted for easy reference at the entry."
