"This place is a vibe! Gorgeous interior, beautiful bar, and incredible service! I had the tomato crab bisque soup and the pork wellington. Both were delicious! Will absolutely be coming back!"
"Top-notch in my book, small place very nice atmosphere. Eclectic.!! The best Tomahawk steak. My husband and I have ever had and we've been to many places To judge. We will be back!!!!"
"Another date night for the wife and I, once again we put on our fancy pants and headed downtown. Decided on Crawfords. Upon entering, the decor is very hunting cabin-ish. Deer antler chandeliers, old furniture that you'd find at a flea market, even a bejeweled wall. Not kidding. I included a photo of the wall in my reveiw to show you how hideous it is. The decor is like a hunting cabin meets the flea market meets Grandma's house. I get that it's an old building but it's time to upgrade the decor. The chairs we're so uncomfortable. People do have to sit in those chair's for awhile..so bad. . Now the good part. Our waitress Paige was very pleasant. Talkative. We started with 2 Margaritas as usual. They were $15 a piece and in small glasses. But they were very good. Then we ordered appetizers of Chislic and Rock Shrimp. I lived in Florida for 20 years and these Rock shrimp were outstanding! Chislic was a little chewy and under seasoned but decent. Then after waiting 50 mins for entrees, our Pork Wellington and NY strip came. Had the bone marrow enhancement and mushroom risotto. Pork Wellington was amazing, as was the risotto. NY strip was good. But about what I make at home on the grill. Bone marrow was very good. My dog loved the leftovers. Then we ordered the creme Brule dessert only to be told 5 mins later that they don't have any. Decided to go with the chocolate cheesecake. Was very rich and delicious. We really wanted the Creme Brule advertised on your menu. The food is very good here. However the terrible chairs, horrible decor, 50 min wait for food, no dessert we ordered and the high prices made this probably a one and done stop. With an ok tip, our bill for 2 was $250. Steaks are overpriced by $10-15, drinks overpriced by $5, appetizers by $5-$8..dinner should have been more around the $150-$175 range. Crazy prices. While I enjoyed the food, we won't be back a 2nd time. First time I think the food was 5 stars but the overall experience was a 3 star."
"We visited on a Tuesday with a work event. The restaurant was short staffed, but our waitress did her best to serve the table. I had the 6oz tenderloin medium rare. I was pleased with the cut (thickkk). I ordered the local grilled mushrooms with, which came on a separate plate that I found odd. They were very good however! I also had a side of the mushroom risotto which was very tasty! The table shared the risotto balls, a pizza, and the spin artichoke dip. Surprisingly the pizza was very good! The spin dip was average. The risotto balls were good, but only 5 or so. Bourbon for dessert, and there bourbon list does not disappoint. They do not list prices however, so beware!"
"Been here a handful of times and every time it’s been excellent. This visit, I had the truffle burger and the sticky toffee pudding. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and with the burger battle every year, Sioux Falls gets a lot of burgers. I hope this stays on the menu! I’ve never seen sticky toffee pudding on a dessert menu before but I generally like British desserts and absolutely loved this. Apparently it was a regular item for a while until they couldn’t get it anymore. Lucky for us, it’s back! One more mention for the Epiphany! Every time we come here and share this drink with our dinner companions, they go nuts. Such a fun cocktail. They even offer it NA if that’s your preference."
