"Moved here from Texas & decided to see how this place compares to authentic bbq from Dallas. Went during happy hour & ordered it to go. The bartender did not tell us we were not going to get happy hour prices because of this & we ended up being charged full menu prices & when we ordered drinks, they didn’t even ask what my girlfriend wanted to drink. She was ignored & was not happy with the service. Food was completely cold by the time we got home & we only live 3 blocks away from this place. Watched them heat up the brisket & pulled pork under heating lamps. Not only was the food not that good but found out that the bartender gave themselves an extra tip & by updating the amount on the credit card slip. Not worth the $100 we were charged & was disappointed with the quality of the food. They don’t even have burnt ends so it can’t be called traditional Texas BBQ."
"My group of 3 stop in before seeing a show last night. We all got they royal burger, which I really liked, i loved the fact the chips they came with were tortilla chips. I really like tortilla chips. The fried cheese curds were really good too. The did forget to bring us our cheese curds, but brought them out right away when we brought it to their attention. Drink wise, I got a cider (I don't like beer personally) which was from number twelve next door. It was as I expected, I liked it. Wasn't too dry or too sweet. My friend got the midas and he said it wasn't bad, but not really his favorite. My sister in law got bi-frost bridge, which she did like a lot. Service was pretty good, the two guys behind the bar were really nice and helpful. I liked the interior set up, I tend to like open floor concepts. They have some games and stuff to play too if you wanted. Will definitely come again if I'm in the area."
"Burnt ends is the best bit of BBQ in the Twin Cities. I've had it multiple times and it has delivered. Salty, sweet, smokey. So you know I'm not full of it. I used to work in the cattle industry. I've eaten and had every top BBQ place in the Twin Cities, Kansas City, and about a quarter of the Texas Monthly Top 50. Didn't love their beans but the rest of the BBQ was very good too. It's legit and better than anywhere else in a 400 mile radius."
"Great service and great interior/exterior to have some drinks and some grub. A bit overpriced in my opinion but at the same time I have no idea these days what is overpriced due to how expensive things are. I recommend this place for the beers on tap as the cocktails are good but pricey. Very clean as well! Highly recommend."
