"If I can give it a zero I would. Pls do not go eat at this place. Do not support BAD FOOD AND A LIAR. I ordered the chicken salad and the chicken was rock dried which had an ODD COLOR like grayish tone to it. I cook chicken weekly and this chicken looked like it was old or rotten meat being cooked. I gag thinking about this. I wish I'd have taken a picture. I went to tell the owner and I know he wasn't happy about it. He told me it was cooked this morning which was a lie. I told him I just wanted a refund as I don't trust his food and he claimed he couldn't do it for me right there and then but he assured me that he'd do it. I should have just demanded my money back right at the moment. I'm not an assertive person. It takes courage for me to step up past my comfort level and confront people who wrong me. My husband was still eating his lunch and when we finished he helped me confront the guy. Then guy supposedly refunded me but the receipt said "cash" and when I asked him about the word he said that's the way he has to refund. I NEVER GOT THE REFUND. The hospitality fee is a joke. On the receipt he didn't even refund it back. Imagine every 100 customer he charges the extra fee how much he leeches on us. Tipping is to be freely given. It was inconvenient as I don't live close by or drive that way much. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SUPPORT HONEST, GOOD FOOD SMALL BUSINESSES. I'm surprised it is still open. He claims to be this "chef " and was on a cooking show. Sadly he doesn't live up to what he portrays."
"Inconsistent and slow service service. Got charged 2xs for 1 bowl of soup. It was corrected. We got a nice piece of bread with salad last time I was there. This time they only offered crackers. The chicken in the Thai Stik salad was not that great...some pieces were really tough. Only one person making the salads and checking the people out, which contributed to long wait times. Lots of miscommunication when taking orders."
"Waiting almost 10 minutes until someone finally came out of the back to help me. I got the Ceasar salad which was decent buy not great. They automatically add 9% for hospitality charge. I'm all for tipping when earned but don't force it on me because you don't want to pay your employee a decent wage."
"My reputation as a reviewer is straight forward but an overall encourager for small shops & gluten free dining. Especially for those that are trying to make the world a tiny bit better one meal at a time. This review in contrast is sad. You know when you go somewhere and the staff make you feel like an inconvenience? Sadly that was my experience on Friday. Received a $21+ protein bowl & a can of coke with an attitude on the side. I asked for my avocado to be cut up (having to eat in vehicle as I travel) but that was offensive & not going to happen. I was to do it myself (no table or counter, plastic knives gone & celiac aware that I didn't want cross contamination from another vendor helping me out). Sad. Being one of the first vendors as you step into the food court at Rosedale, a standard of politeness & professionalism should be the standard for those looking for food. Not a vibe that ordering food and needing help is an inconvenience. Food: protein bowl with shrimp. The avocado was an entire half, great typically unless you need to eat on the go. 5 shrimp with tail on. Again needing to eat with hands & those with celiac or gluten sensitivity don't eat with hands at a food court because of gluten contamination. We rely on utensils or a nearby hand washing station (which was not available) the taste was a 2 out of 10. And I love salad & bowls. Bowl went in the trash and I drank the coke. Upside: Bowl looked good. A bag to hold my food would have been kind. I had to carry my awkward armful all the way through Rosedale to my vehicle. Then prep my avocado and shrimp to eat. Sad Review."
"Paid $15.12 for the Strawberry fields salad. I'm disappointed that the portion is so small that it doesn't even fill my bowl. I think I only got like 4-5 small pieces of chicken. Never again."
