"Terrible what’s happened to this place. My wife spent $30 and came home with all day old (stale) donuts expecting them fresh. This puts the nail in the coffin for this business and we’re Never going back. Please close the doors and stop ripping people off."

"I've been going to Hans Bakery since I was very young. My Grandparent's house was nearby and we would ride our bikes there for a special treat. I always thought their 'Texas donuts' were the biggest and greatest dessert in the world (they're as big as your face). I'm so glad they've been able to stay open all these years. Now I'm able to take my 3 year old daughter there to enjoy just as I did when I was her age. Their donuts have a flavorful dough and delectable glaze. I also recommend their decorated/frosted sugar cookies and of course, the Bee Sting is delish. Great dessert to pick up and bring to a special occasion, always a hit."

"August 14, 2023 10:00am one lone customer reading a book. Years ago this was a place “to be seen at”. Now, my oh my how things change. No baking goes on in this building anymore, everything is shipped in from Woullet’s. I must say our three donuts were quite good. Bakery items five stars. The rest of the place no stars. My coffee looked like it came from an oil rig in some far off state, jet black! Possible the worst coffee I have had in my many years on earth. The exterior had weeds growing all over the place. The patio was a shambles. The floor inside may have been swept or mopped a very long time ago. The bathroom, only use in a personal emergency. Very untidy."

"Nice variety of baked goods and friendly staff. Apparently this place has been here so long it’s a well-known and respected bakery. Anyplace where retired people congregate to drink coffee, eat goodies and share a laugh is a great place to be…so unpretentious!"
