Beast Barbecue

"Haven't been in this place since it was Legends so my friend and I split a couple of items. The pork candy was a good appetizer for 2 and maybe 3. There was some fat on it, but it is to be expected with that cut of meat. We shared the Beast Cheesesteak Sammie but just felt very greasy to me. The crunch of the pickled jalapenos helped a little bit. The BBQ french fries are just fries with some dry rub spices sprinkled on top. It was fine, but nothing special. The bartender was very friendly and the atmosphere was great, I would probably just order something else next time."

"The moment I walked in, I was greeted with scents of sweet and spicy mouth watering flavors. It was a cozy home feeling ambience with a little up beat atmosphere… The food was delicious and I’m going to leave it at that! It’s your loss if you don’t come and try it. The service was amazing our waitress was fun cheerful and very attentive."

"Fun swine dining. Great Pulled Pork Sammie. Recommend the Brisket Cream Cheese Wontons. The drink list has a wide variety of choices. The brisket stroganoff is very bland and needs some of the sauces that are on each table. The baked beans are very spicy (spicier than the jalapenos on the Sammie)."

"I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans. Portions were generous. The pulled pork was excellent. The house BBQ sauces are flavorful. Their baked beans are very flavorful - so much flavor that they don’t taste like brown beans. I’ll opt for a different side next time. If you’re looking for good BBQ in the Cities, I recommend Beast BBQ without hesitation. They have ample indoor seating with plenty of room between tables. Everything is clean and the space welcoming. They also have a few tables for outside dining, along the entrance. It is a perfect place to hang out with friends or have a business meeting. The server was friendly and offered some good tips (like use their Cakalacky sauce on the pulled pork). They offer catering and takeaway- which is why I went to test their food today. I came away confident that their food will be perfect for an upcoming board meeting meal. They offer transparent pricing. Jeff, the chef, is very responsive, so it didn’t take more than 30 minutes to get his reply after I emailed them from their site with an inquiry. These people are easy to work with. Go get some BBQ soon and let me know if you agree."

"Was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Had the plate, over meat one side, it was a nice portion, and filled me up. Came with Texas toast. Pulled pork was spot on, Mac and cheese also. Lucas was my server and was fantastic. The sauces were tasty. I will definitely be back when I return to MSP. The menu prices are a dollar higher than the website. Assume it needs to be updated. The only thing I didn't like was the selection of music playing but what can I say, I'm getting old...!"
