"Yankee Tavern offers a nice dining experience with a slight hiccup in its smoked dishes, which seem to lean heavily on liquid smoke, making them a bit overpowering for our tastes. Despite this, the overall quality of the food has potential, and there are certainly other appealing options on the menu worth exploring. The standout of our visit was the service, particularly from our server Mattie, whose cheerful and quick service greatly enhanced our experience. We're looking forward to returning and trying other dishes."

"I stopped in here for a bite to eat with some company from out of town and had a really enjoyable experience. A friendly bar patron tried to sell us on a meat raffle and shared some silly banter which made for a charming and home-like feeling in the restaurant. The service was kind and efficient, and the food was good as well. I would certainly consider stopping in here with company or for a bite to eat again in the future."

"Was looking for a good place for fish and chips and several people recommended this establishment. I've driven past this restaurant hundreds of times, we were quite impressed. The lent menu they offer on Fridays was great. Came in for fish and chips, instead got the Cajun Shrimp stir fry (I believe that's what it was) fantastic. My wife had the fish and chips which was good, only criticism was that it was not hot at all, barely warm, didn't stop us for then coming back 2 days later for their brunch, which was also really good. We will be back for sure, and hope anyone that hasn't been here before stops in and checks it out."

"The Fries were the best fries I ever had! So good I didn’t even dip them in ketchup. Like just perfectly cooked. Super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! Also, the burger I had tasted of fresh ingredients even the beef patty didn’t taste like it had been frozen before. Very friendly staff and quiet atmosphere least when I was there. A+++"
