"The first impression I get when I walk into Spitz is a welcoming and friendly environment to be in! The two cocktails my wife and i ordered , "The viking" and "Strawberry basil lemon drop," were to up to par. The "Street cart donor wrap" sounded so good we had to try it, especially adding fries was only 50 cents. and we added fries. It was sublime! To make it even better was noticing the abundance of games, including battleship and exploding kittens! The staff was attentive, polite, and had great choices when we couldn't decide what to drink. All in all, it's a great first experience, and we surely will be back soon."
"As someone hailing from the Mediterranean, I have to admit that I might be a tad bit biased when it comes to evaluating doner. However, I recently ordered the doner salad bowl, and I must say, it's a different experience that I'd recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different from the traditional taste. It is a bit different from the familiar flavors I grew up with. While it may not completely match the taste of home, it certainly offers a fresh perspective on this classic dish. Besides doner salad, there are many menu options available. I'll certainly be coming back to explore more of their menu offerings and next time I would like to experience the service in the restaurant."
"The street cart fries were topped with garlic aioli, feta, onion, green pepper, tomato, olives and peperocinis. I paid $3 extra for beef & lamb. The food was extremely tasty and full of different flavors. This place is definitely worth a try. I did not get anything to drink, but they had good variety on tap and the bar had a nice vibe. Expect to pay $13-$15 minimum here."
"I love Spitz! Great atmosphere with interesting murals and records everywhere. Music and lighting just add to the scene and make it such a fun experience! Food is always great. I get the street art wrap with lamb doner. Like a glorified gyro :). I love it. Fries are crunchy perfection and the garlic aioli sauce.. *chefs kiss*. Employees are friendly and helpful. They have games and a shuffleboard table to keep it fun while you're waiting for your food. This place never disappoints."
"I got the Mediterranean Doner wrap. I don’t say this often, but the wrap was perfect. Everything was fresh and tasty. The mix allowed all of the flavors to be savored with a satisfying crunch. The portion was generous. Spitz has a friendly and welcoming vibe. Order at the counter and grab a table. Tables are comfortably spaced allowing for good conversation. Great music fills the space without getting in the way (nice sound system too). A nice collection of vinyl LPs adorn the wall behind the bar. Dining available inside or outside on the sidewalk. Free parking in the lot next to the building (also serves customers at the neighboring Rusty Taco that I have yet to try). I came for lunch on a weekday and had no trouble getting a table or a parking spot. I’ll definitely be back with family, friends, and colleagues."
