"Rice is like 2 or three days old and the steak is bad (wouldn’t even give to my dog) Refused to give a refund or even eat it because she’s didn’t want to poison herself. Extremely rude, this lady screamed at me because the food was rotten and the tried to assault me. Run unless you want food poisoning and to be assaulted"

"Have to make the stop whenever I'm in Minneapolis! Food can't be beat, better than any silly Chipotle or Taco Bell. And I love supporting a small business!"

"Stopped in for a takeout order and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff was friendly. On the negative side, parking is horrific, and there were a few hiccups with my order. Order Accuracy: Thankfully, I realized two items were missing before leaving the restaurant and the staff kindly addressed that quickly. However, another item was unfortunately missing, requiring me to drive back to get a refund. This was a bit of an inconvenience, and I hope the restaurant can double-check takeout orders more thoroughly in the future. Food: The food itself was decent, but not quite amazing. I ordered the chicken enchilada with rice and beans. I thought the beans would be refried, but they were not. My mistake for not asking. Overall, disappointed that the food wasn't quite up to par as the original Pepitos restaurant. Hoping my experience was due to an off day, and I'll probably go back one more time for a better Lupitas experience."

"Been here twice now and had a good experience both times. A little bit pricier and slightly smaller burritos than chipotle, but the authenticity and small business vibe are worth it. I've had both types of chicken burritos. Both were good, but didn't wow me. Staff were very nice both times as well. I'll probably go back once or twice."

"Such wonderful, authentic Mexican food. Nothing beats local stores run by passionate owners. The cooking reminded me of my mother's own cooking, and the atmosphere reminds me of when I used to live in Puebla, Mexico. I loved it all, the food was immaculate, and I will be ordering here once again whenever I'm around. (P.S I took a photo of my empty plate to show how I cleaned the food entirely, it was THAT good)"
