Perk Up Kitchen 3809 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN 55431

"Perk Up is a cozy little bistro with an open and transparent atmosphere. I ordered a coffee + chicken and waffles on a weekday afternoon. The coffee was above average with free refills which is quite uncommon these days outside of Denny's or Ihop. The chicken and waffles most importantly had a nice crispy piece of chicken, but it had several issues. Mine simply came with no eggs at all(Edit: sorry owner but your menu clearly states eggs are included) after specifically ordering over medium(my go to for over easy lovers looking to avoid that snotty yoke.) Additionally, the honey butter condiment made no sense. I'm not sure why anyone would feel the need to apply this to a piece of fried chicken. It desperately needed acid for the dry but somehow still soggy waffle. For the price point, I'm unlikely to give Perk Up a second chance."

"So excited to see my fav coffee shop now has a brand new breakfast/brunch place! The service was super quick and we had a very nice conversation with the waitress. The food comes out pretty quick and was delicious. All of the meals listed cam with eggs of your choice which were cooked perfectly. Overall the service and food was both amazing!"

"Totally impressed with this place. You would never know that they just opened. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and accommodating. They have both breakfast and lunch items on the menu and a bar. The Ricotta Lemon pancakes were devine and they came with eggs and bacon too. I will definitely be telling all my friends about it and making them take me with them when they try it."
