"Terrible experience with new vertical pro smoker. Upon opening box, the stack was damaged. Sent me a new one. Had to wait to use smoker. On my second use, the smoker shut down three times. Sent me out a new board. Three week wait for that. After replacing the new board, while wheeling it back in place the weld on the wheel broke off. I sent picture of defaults and was told they need more photos. In order for that to happen the unit would need to be tipped on its side. I’m 70. They said hire someone to tip the unit. They could simply send me out a new leg. 45 minutes on phone. This smoker has been down longer than it has been useable. Should have purchased a Traeger."

"I've had my pit boss for 5 years now. I've got the 3 in 1 gas charcoal and electric. I've never used the electric. I've used the propane most of the time and maybe use the charcoal 15 times in a year. There are some issues from day one. It came bent. We called and they said we'll if you want a new one you can just bring it back for an exchange. I laughed because I told them I put it together and noticed there was a crease in the metal after it was all put together. They told me I would have to bring it back in the box. Hahaha. This took the wife and I 3 hrs to put together. The ignition button worked for maybe 2 weeks changed the battery cleaned the igniters nothing. So I've been using a torch to start the fire Just a few weeks ago we were cooing and this is when stuff started to come apart. The bracket for the heat shield fell apart on top of the flame. Then the drip pan went all over the grill the patio and my yard. The grill cover is cheaply made it maybe lasted 6 months b4 it tore in 2 places. The propane tank doest sit in the holder poor design. Not enough storage for grilling material."

"3 year old pellet grill . Earlier this year fire pot had a big hole in it called 2 days later had a new one. Now the temperature probe w gone bad 2 days later had a new one all oarts have been under warranty no money out of my pocket. Definitely will by another Pit Boss they do stand behind their products."
