"Because we arrived a little early. We started at the bar. Timothy, the bartender makes great drinks, fun and a great guy! Moving to the restaurant. We were greeted at the table by Jay, he was very attentive, made the dining experience great. I and my wife ordered the sirloin 8 oz medium rare, it was spot on good. We shared the roasted artichoke salad- yummy. We also ordered the mashed potatoes, which I requested them to add garlic, it was amazingly good. Chophouse should adopt that idea, you’re welcome plus a free dinner ;). The manager came by to ensure all was good, this is much appreciated. One small disappointment, the bar had a fee better appetizers than the restaurant, I was told it’s because the bar menu is different, which I find that puzzling. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and warm dinning environment. We are planning to go back for the prime rib. This visit will make this place a favorite, if all turns out well. To be continued…"

"We arrived and had to leave fairly soon after due to an emergency at home, but our server was still amazing. It was my birthday dinner, and even though we only ended up having time to stay for drinks, she went out of her way to make sure I had a great experience. We will be back because she was so awesome."

"Beautiful place. Great attention to detail when it was built and from the staff. The manager, Brittany, is quite approachable and genuinely cares about customer service. We've stayed at the Bloomington Hilton several times, have eaten in the Chophouse and hung out for happy hours, and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food, especially when Melissa takes care of us. I had questions about a bill from a previous visit, and Brittany, graciously and thoroughly put my concerns to rest. Its a nice place to stay (The Hilton), and a wonderful place to eat, hangout and even make new friends. Thx Brittany, Melissa and the rest of the restaurant staff!"

"One of the best meals we've had in years! We discovered this place when looking for a good celebration restaurant. We ordered the shrimp cocktail to start and it was fantastic! The cocktail sauce was something special but the shrimp was seasoned so well it didn't even need a sauce. We got the prime rib and New York strip as entrees and were blown away! Seriously this might have been the best steak of my life! I love a good glaze or sauce on a steak but this was so flavorful and buttery I barely used the garlic butter I asked for. The garlic butter was a flavor experience of its own! It was so fresh and full of herbs! We ordered the hash browns and brocoolini as our sides. The hash browns were great and surprising for a dinner side but very savory, the broccolini was fresh and crispy with a nice seasoning. We ended with the creme brulee with a maple brown sugar glaze that was the perfect bookend to a delicious meal. We're tequila people and the bar made a great fresh margarita and had a decent tequila selection. I hope I got the names right but a special shout-out to McKenna our server who took great care of us and Marcus who was helpful along the way and engaged us in a wonderful chat regarding future events at the restaurant. We'll be back! Again, one of the best meals we've ever had - we directly compared to Manny's and this place beats it by a mile!"

"Kind of confusing as they are attached to another restaurant that's associated with Hilton. Because of this, orders are from the same counter. Overall the service was great, atmosphere was relaxing and the food was fresh. The one downside is my burger wasn't seasoned which is not what you'd expect from a steakhouse. Hence the 4 star vs 5 star review."
