"We came to India Palace Plymouth for their lunch buffet - it's a gem! As soon as we entered, our group of four was stunned by the ambience which features a beautiful and clean interior adorned with classical Indian paintings. Coupled with the food, our visit felt like a journey through the flavors and aromas of India. Foodwise, the star of the show is the dry beef, which is hard to come by at Indian restaurants. The beef is marinated in a rich blend of spices and cooked with precision, leading to a melt-in-your-mouth experience which is hard to come by. The Tandoori chicken hit the spot. It's not too spicy and was piping hot. I loved how the roasted onions that garnish the chicken provided a boost of umami flavor. samosa appetizers were also outstanding The naan bread is a testament to the culinary prowess of their chefs. The variety is impressive, ranging from the classic Garlic Naan, rich and aromatic, to the decadent Peshawari Naan, stuffed with nuts and raisins, offering a delightful contrast of flavors and textures. Each naan is baked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior that complements the entrees perfectly. Also inspiring are the condiments. Each condiment, from the tangy mint chutney to the sweet and spicy mango pickle, is crafted to enhance the flavors of the dishes, adding layers of complexity and depth that elevate the dining experience to new heights. Service at India Palace is nothing short of excellent. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome, providing recommendations and insights into the menu that enhance your meal. "They have a nice variety of food, on the buffet, however the flavors just aren't as developed as most Indian restaurants. Nothing was bad, but nothing was exceptional. It was almost like the flavors were watered down. If someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't put up a fight, but I also wouldn't suggest it . Which is sad. I really wanted to like this place."
