"I went to the Sephora department this morning for the first time. A lovely young woman with nearly shaved hair helped me. I describe her only because her name wasn’t on the receipt. First, she started calling me “dear” (I have gray hair and earned every one). I told her, respectfully, not to call me dear and she gracefully complied. The remainder of my transaction was absolutely delightful. As an older woman, I dislike vehemently being patronized just because I am older. I’m certain she didn’t even realize. I will definitely return and hope, she’ll be working. She was helpful, professional, and a joy to work with."
