"The worst customer service ever from a group of adult women! Poor customer service is to be accepted at any place where teenagers are working. But certainly not from a store on 50th Street in Edina. Was in the store for over 30 minutes and not once was I approached by a sales associates or even acknowledged although 2 women walked by me looked me in the face and never even commented or offered to help. lit wasnt until I was walking into the dressing room a lady finally said to me, "oh, do you need a room". She pointed to which Room to go to, asked my name and left. No offer to help. No offer to contact her if I needed a different sizes and certainly she never checked back in on me! Ended up leaving everything i was going to purchase in the dressing room and departed. Up set that I wasted my time and drove out of my way to go to the store because of the sizes it offered. So dissappointed in Talbots now. Back to Van Maurer and will never stray again!!!"

"This is a BIG store and they carry a lot of merchandise. The staff are hit and miss. Sometimes they're helpful and somewhat knowledgable, but most of the time, you need to hunt for pieces. The quality of their clothing is generally pretty good. Their sizes generally run a tad bit small."

"I’m a very casual person, so I’m in the market for an outfit from Talbots maybe once per year but I love the timeless designs, the very helpful staff, and the fact that they have well-stocked women’s (plus size) and women’s petite sections at this location. I know ordering online and returning to the store has always been an option, but it is so much more efficient and pleasant to be able to browse. An other reviewer said she had a bad experience and seemed to think it was at least in part because she wasn’t dressed well. That’s really unfortunate, but my experience was completely different. I showed up in my unfashionable jeans and flannel, and got great service."
