"I am a very picky eater normally.. came to urban wok with company. If you have never been and sit at tables you still have to order yourself on computer- this was hard for the couples we attended with that are a little older (late 50s). The drink options suck.. they only had very select few choices and were expensive for drinks even at restaurants. $2.50 for a can of pop. Overall I would come back again if invited by company but It would not be my personal go to by cchoice of restaurant."
"My daughter (celiac) and I ate at Urban Wok in Maple Grove for the 1st time tonight. The staff was very helpful and the food was DELICIOUS! There are so few restaurants which have so many gluten free iptions (and many vegan also)! The main portion was huge and could be shared by 2, especially if an appetizer is ordered also. We can't wait to visit again!"
"First time trying Urban Wok and was very happy I did; I will absolutely be coming back next time I'm in the twin cities. I was able to walk from my hotel to the restaurant which was very convenient. The place was literally empty which was weird for 6:30 on a Saturday, but I assume it's usually much busier. Ordering was easy, really just choosing options for your bowl on a tablet along with any drinks or additions to your meal (didn't really have any interactions with staff members aside from them bringing my food out) The food is very very good. Being able to choose what goes in the dish is nice (recommended bowls and/or special bowls of the month would be a smart addition). Like some other reviews say, the food does take a bit of time; it's not instant like fast food establishments so make sure you're not on an extreme time crunch when coming to eat. Highly recommend!"
"The food is minimal. Paid 50 bucks for food pictured. Unreal. It costs at best half of that! Waited over an hour to get my online order from the time it was ordered while the website said 30 minutes. There were 3 people working there on Sunday while the place was packed with people waiting for their orders. Not recommended to anyone unless you have time and extra money to throw away."
"Decided to give this place a try because I thought it was a black owned business. Turned out it’s not lol but I still supported. The restaurant was clean and the employees super friendly/ helpful with the menu selections. The process is pretty much like a Pi Pizza vibes. The process takes about 10 minutes from ordering to them cooking it for you. You build your own stir fry, the food was decent. I liked my friends more than my own, which is hard to blame on the restaurant since it is built by yourself. I think it could use more seasonings on the rice and meat itself, which would kick it up a notch. You will need a couple visits to properly try the menu and see if you like it. Worth at least 2 visits."
