Reviews of Furniture Mission
"Made my first donation after finding out about it from St. Francis House. Not hard to find at all."
"Very kind, I am very grateful to the people who helped us today. We moved to Sioux Falls and we had nothing and thanks to God and Furniture Mision we now have things for the home. Many thanks for everything."
"These guys are amazing. Their mission is incredible and everyone should support their cause."
"I couldn't tell you how much I appreciate the help this place was and, in a very rude and dimening way, did help me out. However ladies your in the service of helping people, not only that but people who have had to call and get referd first so it's not like I was walking in off the street and going through your stuff looking for high quality stuff. I'm an only parent with two kids and we didn't as for their dad to die but I humbled myself and asked for your help with things just to be treated like trash. God forbid I asked for a clock but didn't know that because i didn't tell you that I needed one when we talked for all of 1 minute on the phone prior I couldn't get one. You want to know why your short on things? Because your the representation of this place! You treated my family as if they were beneath you but i promise you their hearts are pure and they helpbgor the pleasure of doing so. The ladies working at or running this place are making sure everyone who has to use their services really knows the power they actually hold. The tell all was how extremely nice and polite the rude which who "helped" me got with someone who came to donate!"
"Lady who was helping was super rude, demanding almost. The moving truck was around 10mins. Late, and the lady who was helping me was rushing me through looking/deciding on what pieces I wanted. I really do appreciate the help, but don't be pushy when someone is running a little late. It's not my fault they were late, and I ended up getting rushed. My mom stopped me for 2 seconds, to ask about a piece, and the lady who was taking me through was saying "i need you to hurry up, I have..." I didn't really listen to her, and had to tell my mom to wait until I got back in the car to ask me anything. Her concern was a dresser that had a loose top piece. I said I can fix it, so I'm not worried. Overall, I really truly, appreciate the help with the couch, chair, table, dishes and 2 beds they provided for me. *I just don't like being rushed like that* The guys who loaded the moving truck were awesome. They never complained or moaned, just went and grabbed what I picked out, and put it on the truck."
