"Customer service is awful lady answering the phones uses foul language ask to cancel to my purchase since no one seems to know what’s going on and update me with a tracking if the item has shipped purchased 11/16/23. Will not return to this company for any business."
"This company is a complete sham. They are cooperative while you place an order but once you receive the GoKart there is no customer service either by phone or email and they can be quite nasty on the phone. They may respond to an email question after a couple days with a few word answer but in no way will they expend much effort to answer a basic question let alone address a valid warranty question. Their literature says they "have technicians on staff to assist with any issues that you may have with your product". That is completely false as they have no intention to provide the customer any substantial assistance. They will also probably try to get a few more $$ out of you once you place your order but before you have received your Go Kart. We were billed an additional $49 in freight fees. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more from a local dealer to your location or one of the other dealers recommended by Trailmaster and check out their customer service reviews before ordering. Family GoKart is about as dishonest a company as I have run across. Prospective purchasers of Trailmaster GoKarts should wonder why Trailmaster would sell supposedly a decent product through a distributor that does not represent their product in an honorable way."
"DO NOT BUY. TRUST ME COMPLETE SCAM. 1. I signed shipping document damage all over 2. Scooter had major damage 3. Immediately notified business 4. Been hung up on twice and over 60 emails that have done absolutely nothing. I now have a scooter that does not run, cracked broken plastic and parts, scratched plastic and parts all over, radio/speaker that does not work ect. Buy from a different company"
"Do not recommend this company. They are very dishonest and downright rude (with the exception of Lisa who clearly has customer service experience). I called 12/17 and asked if I ordered that day if it could arrive before Christmas. Jeff looked up my address and assured me it would arrive on 12/22 if I paid the additional $39.95 "hot move" fee so they could process my order faster. I told Jeff upfront that I was not concerned with arrival before Christmas, but that I needed to know so I wouldn't pay the additional fee for no reason. Lisa called me the same day (12/17) and told me to make sure I completed the additional invoice (an additional fee for shipping) that I would receive on 12/18. I was told if I paid that invoice on 12/18 that my order would ship 12/19. I called 12/19 to verify. I was told to call back on 12/20 if I still hadn't received shipping information. I called back on 12/20 and still did not get shipping information. I called back 12/21 and was finally sent a tracking number. My order did not ship until 12/20. It was supposed to ship 12/19. I simply asked that the additional $39.95 fee be refunded considering I only paid it because they assured me I would have my delivery 12/22. My delivery is not scheduled to arrive until 12/27. Allie called me a liar and said I didn't make the additional payment until 12/19, but I have time stamped and dated emails from PayPal confirming, just as Lisa instructed, that I paid the invoice on Sunday, 12/18. Jeff and Allie both flipped out on me. Terrible customer service. If I could get a full refund and take my business elsewhere, I absolutely would. The pictures attached to my review show my initial call 12/17, their website showing that "Hot Move" should be shipped the next business day (would've been 12/19 since I paid the additional fee on 12/18), the emails showing I actually paid the fee 12/18 (Allie repeatedly said that they didn't get the payment until 12/19 which is why it didn't ship until 12/20 but Sunday was 12/18), and the tracking showing I will not receive my item until 21/27. Had they been more kind and understanding and simply refunded me the extra $39.95 since they did not hold up their end of the deal, all would be well. However, Allie insisted that I didn't pay my PayPal invoice until 12/19 which is why my order didn't ship until 12/20. Screenshots don't lie. But the employees of this business sure do."
"Purchased a Vitacci Spark 150cc scooter from Family Go-Carts online. ($1399) They were great. Just want to give some advice and I am sure you have heard this before. 1. An Assembly manual would be nice, NOT included in owner's manual. Although the assembly was not major, no novice could do it without instructions, so I took it a local scooter dealer that assembled it for me for $220. 2. Make sure you include total shipping price up front, an initial $60 for gas and delivery was included in purchase price but was then advised to contact you before delivery. When I did, another $135 was added, due to the style truck that what needed to deliver crate, NOT many homeowners have a forklift, that I know of.... lol 3. Let customer know that a title is NOT included when bike arrives and the customer has to wait, then email in the VIN#. (I completely understand why, this ensures you have the right bike to register) Also, it may take 3-5 weeks to get title, which I will never get with today's technology. Just let the customer know upfront. In Fla, where I am, you cannot register bike without the title. My point is you have 7 days to return if the bike doesn't run, but you can't ride it on the streets without it being registered. As luck would have it, I own a motorcycle and just took the tag and put it on the scooter so I could test ride it. The customer service was great at Family Go-Carts, the price was also great, probably $8-900 cheaper than buying one from a local dealer. The scooter runs great and has NO problem hitting 50 MPH. I would recommend Family Go-Carts to anyone, just ask that the give consumers all the information they need up front."
