"Edwards is an interesting place. Yes, they specialize in desserts. But they also serve cocktails. And small savory plates. And ice cream. Most of the desserts are quite decadent, but they also have cookies and simpler sweets. We picked up pastries to go. I had the spiced blood orange cheesecake. It was tasty, but quite soft, almost pudding-like. This was unusual. Not my favorite, but still good. My husband, however, loved his Rocher mousse, which was made with hazelnut chocolate cake, hazelnut chocolate cremeux, and hazelnut crunch. He also loved the dessert he had the next day, which was essentially a chocolate cake topped with ganache-filled chocolate coated balls. As you can see from the photos, the desserts are beautiful. They run $13 each, which is on the expensive side. Still, for a treat, they are quite worth it."
"What can I say about Edwards other than amazing, amazing, amazing!? From the effervescent staff to the beautifully crafted desserts to the delightful ambience, the experience here was enveloped by warmth and sweetness from start to finish. Can’t wait to be back to try more of the menu."
"Only big reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the almost complete lack of Dark Chocolate/low sugar options. I KNOW, its a dessert location. But every day there are more people learning about the incredible deleterious affects sugar has on the body and while its fun to indulge ONCE in awhile, a business like this should be considering the benefits of healthier sweets like dark chocolate to keep repeat customers. Yes they have cakes and other ‘darker’ chocolate sweets but I’d come here a lot more if I knew I could get a black coffee and some gourmet dark chocolate bars. Its very surprising that they don’t offer such a ubiquitous item as a dark chocolate bar. Everything else was great and obviously tasty when you consider how easy it is to make something delicious by offering a ton of sugary products."
"A fun place to have a late late-night desert!! We tried Spiced Blood Orange Cheesecake, chocolate cake, pear cream puff, and mint and vanilla ice cream. I liked them all, but (I think it's called) Pear Cream Puff was my favorite. We couldn't find space to sit down, so we used the takeout. It's downtown, and parking is not convenient. Busy place, don't expect excellent service."
"If you're looking for a place to enjoy a slice of heaven, this is the place to be. This is the coolest place I have ever been to for a scoop of ice cream & pastries/ pies. As you walk up to the bakery case, you'll find yourself not being able to make a decision on what to order. There's sweet and savory, hot, and cold items. Once you finally decide what your taste buds want to try, staff hands you a table number & order is served to you. Lots of seating, with plush velvet chairs, round tomantic booths, and casual bar tops. Great place to take a break from your busy day to enjoy the sweet side of life."
