"I was just there last night for my bachelor party, and I’m still hearing from my guests how much they loved the choice of venue! We loved the food, we loved the drinks, we loved the atmosphere and warmth of the staff who even joked around with us! I made a last minute reservation for a large group 5 days prior, and not only did Jax Cafe have no trouble accommodating us, they also had custom matchbooks made up for our party! We were held up by a prior event and all it took was a simple phone call to push back our reservation an extra half hour — on Saturday night for 14 people!?! We appreciated ownership personally welcoming us and recognizing the exuberant spirit we came in the door with, and to see owners and staff working together to make our experience great was quite refreshing — the kitchen staff even took a vision-impaired friends filet back to the kitchen to cut it into bite size pieces for him! Jax Cafe truly put everything into their craft, and our glasses were always full, and so were our bellies when we left. I could not have hoped for a better experience, and I am thankful that circumstances brought us to their door and hospitality! Thanks again! We will be back!"

"The 5 Star classy restaurant of Northeast - always exceeds expectations (so I'm told!). I've lived in the neighborhood nearly a decade and finally made it in for dinner. Amazing. Everything was wonderful - from having a sweet and friendly server to every delicious lick, bite, taste of our food. I see why this is everyone's special go to restaurant! It's an absolute must! The interior design is enough to keep your eyes busy while you wait for your food. Live lobster. Piano. Bar. They even had good NA beer options! I highly recommend the oysters on a half shell for starters."

"This was our first trip to a Supper Club... What a great experience. When I first stepped into Jax I felt transported back to the early 1900 when it was founded. Reservations are highly recommended and very easy to make online. They have an extensive Cocktail and Wine menu and plenty of varieties of beer. I started with the Bailey's Chocolate Martini, which was like Dessert in a glass. When I first saw it, I thought the Dinner menu looked relatively small, but after studying it I realized it had all the right things and plenty of options to choose from. Our server, Angela, was fantastic. Very attentive, but not hovering. She told us about the specials of the day, all of which sounded scrumptious. We chose to go with no appetizers but started with salads and a basket of warm bread. I had their house salad, which was very similar to a Cesar salad and topped with the perfect amount of dressing. I ordered the smothered ribeye steak; my wife got their 14 oz Prime Rib. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, a pan seared and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was mothered with mushrooms and onions over a generous serving of Hash Browns. The combination of all items was mouthwatering. My wife thought her prime rib had too much fat, tough to judge when it comes to prime rib, but the meat was delicious. We finished our meals by sharing a piece of their delicious Chocolate Bailey’s cake. What a great evening. Be prepared to spend a good amount of money, but to me, it was worth every cent."

"Only complaint was we came for the patio and it was closed for a private event. Which we wanted to try the happy hour menu. We ended up spending a lot on dinner but it was really good and loved the drinks as well. Can’t wait to try the patio sometime. ❤️"
