"If I could have all the food I need delivered to me economically, then I would never visit this grocery store, or any other grocery store. (Hint.) (1) Prices for many of the products I buy are lower at one or more of the chain stores other than Lunds and Byerlys that provide groceries locally. (2) Pickup of online orders has been free of charge at some of these other lower price chains. Lunds and Byerlys charges a "shop fee" to pick items off the shelf for you. This picker "shop fee" is high: $4.95 per visit, or $9.99 per month, or $89.99 per year. (3) Websites for some other chains provide a picture of the nutrition label for the products they sell. The Lunds and Byerlys website does not provide the nutrition label information for the products it sells. (4) I have encountered only a few nice by nature employees at this store, and no more than at other stores. (5) The cashier has claimed to see a broken egg in the cartoon too often, and the wait for a replacement carton has been too long almost as often. (6) I have to block my hearing often to get my shopping done at this store with all of the talking going on there, especially at the front end. I do not multitask. Shopping at this store has been a trying ordeal some days. (First posted June 2023 - Updated March 2024)"

"We really like our local Lund's. Great selection of items, and their sales/specials are really good values. Only negative is, the checkout can sometimes be a bit slow and not enough cashiers. They also don't have self checkout at this store. Other than that... we love having them in the neighborhood. Plus it's in the same mall where our Anytime Fitness gym is located, so it's convenient to shop there after our workouts."

"Place is clean, selection is decent. Prices are...Lunds & Byerlys Prices. The problem at this place is the deli. The workers in the deli are absolutely the slowest, the most oblivious employees I've ever seen. Today I stood there for 5 minutes with no one at the counter before someone finally asked if I needed help. Well by then I was tired of that wait so I left and went to Von Hanson's instead. Last week I did actually get service but when it feels like I'm waiting 10 minutes for a half pound of meat, it's still pretty slow. The week before was the worst though. I stood there watching an employee methodically cut meat for 10 minutes for some other customer then proceed to walk out from around the deli counter and TALK TO THEM FOR 5 MORE MINUTES! This was clearly within earshot and was just familiar chat because they apparently were friends. They didn't even help me, someone else working the deli counter finally came up to help me. Protip everyone that reads this: Groceries are fine but if you need deli meat and cheese Von Hanson's is a mile down Normandale Rd and will you get out the door in a quarter of the time with the same Boar's Head brand stuff."

"Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Quality foods, on brand for L&B. Located in a quiet neighborhood, pleasant if you don't like big crowds. Many sections to spend time in outside of grocery shopping. A lot of options in their "ready to heat" section. Overall fun time!"
