"I thought the food was pretty good compared to like establishments. Steaks were pretty tasty and cooked to preference. Also a good choice of BBQ foods with good selection of BBQ sauces. Waitress was friendly and kind and that added value to the service. Atmosphere was Country Western and friendly. Was one of the better establishments I have eaten at in Brookings SD."

"Good food but we came in and got seated. Got our order taken and 2 minutes later a big party came in the waiter came and said we just had a big party come in would you like bread while waiting? Assuming it wouldn't affect us since we had already placed our order. 5 minutes later big group got their food and we were still waiting for ours. We had a table of 6. They also didn't have children's menus so my 3 children ended up ordering off the adult menu. All in all, after my family had started eating the big group left. Apparently, big groups mean more to this restaurant than even a group of 6."

"Quality has improved greatly over two years ago. The staff are great again and the food is great again. I'm very happy with the improvements. Update: Shrinkflation hits. Portions are shrinking the middle of the tootsie rolls have shrunk to maybe half of what they used to be. They are mostly twists on the sides now. Just not worth going. 10 months later and shrinkflation still a thing. The tootsie rolls are now skinnier. The beans just have too much sugar in them."

"Excited to try for the first time but was very disappointed… My 18 dollar CFS meal was no better than a frozen dinner … The gravy was clearly microwaved.. & the patty seemed pre breaded. The drinks were below average with a long wait time. I was hungry after a long trip so I ate it but like I said below average… Service was great but I won’t be back…"

"Ordered through door dash and when I got the food it looked delicious but I was missing an item, the potatoes in the soup were very hard and the avocado in my salad was hard and rubbery. Reply to the restaurant. The salad was good minus the avocado which was one of the main reasons for getting that salad. The baked potato must not have been cooked long enough or perhaps it was a big potato that needed longer to cook was hard but there were more hard one then soft. The bread and butter were delicious and perfect. The bread pudding as well as a fork and spoon were missing from my bag so perhaps the delivery guy never grabbed it or just never delivered it. I do not like giving low reviews, as I travel all over the country for work but there were way to many thumbs down on this order. I will try this place again someday later on down the road."
