"Disappointing experience with this repair shop. Cannot recommend. I brought my vehicle here because my vehicle A/C was no longer throwing cool air and when I diagnosed it myself at my home there was no pressure in the system. I have my own vacuum pump and confirmed the system was not able to hold vacuum, which means it leaked out the refrigerant until there was none. Dropped the car at the agreed date/time and a few hours later received a call stating they wanted to replace the o-rings on the compressor as the compressor was leaking dye. I agreed to the estimate to address those issues and they said they would call me back to let me know if that fixed the vacuum problem. Mid afternoon I received the 2nd call. They stated the system was now holding vacuum (this point is important) but that they could not get the compressor clutch to engage so it was going to need replacement, along with the condenser. The estimate for that was a little over $2000 dollars, which I declined. Since they said it held vacuum that was good enough for me, as that was the reason I took it to them. I could replace the compressor at a later time. The actual bill came to $255 with taxes. Took the vehicle home, finished my work shift and decided to verify that the system was able to hold vacuum, so I did another test at home with my vacuum pump. To my disappointment, it behaved exactly as it was prior to taking it to the shop, vacuum was lost in about 15 minutes. There is still a leak."
