Reviews
"The workers are nice and friendly. My car was done in a timely matter and follow up feedback was given about the condition of my car through the courtesy check."
"This Firestone has great employees who take the time to listen to concerns, answer questions and do quality alignments. If other issues are found outside of the regular scheduled job? They will let you know and not be pushy about the repair. I trust them with all of my family’s vehicles."
"I recently required assistance with a tire on my car, it picked up a nail. Firestone Brooklyn Center was the only open place I could go to. Firestone isn't an issue for me so I was glad to find someplace that was open. I had to get the tire replaced due to the nail. They accommodated my request about non-similar tires on the car and I'm very happy with the results. My issue is, my car has an auto lock door feature that I use. The person working on the car turned this off and did not turn it back on. My car sat outside 1 day with the doors unlocked without my noticing. Living in North Mpls I find this to be an issue. A better solution than to change setting on the car would be to leave the key in the car while working on it. Secondly, the mechanic should not be changing anything on the setting for the car. This now makes me wonder what else did they changes that I'm not aware of. I will probably not return because I'm not really keen on the idea of not knowing what else a mechanic did to the car when I was not there. Outside of that, the help from the person at the desk was stellar. I don't know her name but she went the extra mile to find a tire that closely matched what I had on the car. Thank you for your service, you deserve a raise.."
"Very accommodating. I only needed a sensor replaced. It was still under warranty.. Having to start a claim, get approval & have it paid for me , takes time. But they were able to get it done in a timely manner. We were back in my car the next day."
"During my recent visit to Firestone Brooklyn Center, I encountered a concerning situation, prompting me to express dissatisfaction. I strongly advise against wasting time at this location, as it falls short of expectations. Bridgestone/Firestone and Tires Plus are under the same corporate umbrella. As a long-time customer with a Firestone credit card, I frequented the now-closed Brooklyn Center Tires Plus. On May 18, 2023, I visited Firestone after discovering a nail in my tire. They promptly accommodated me without an appointment and addressed the issue. While my tire was being repaired, they mentioned the need for a new battery, but I chose to handle the replacement myself. There was no mention of problematic tires during this visit. After a week, my tire pressure warning light reactivated with a minor pressure drop. Adding air didn't resolve the issue, with approximately 1 pound of air loss per day. On June 5, 2023, I had an appointment with Firestone at 2 PM. Arriving slightly earlier, I also intended to reschedule a Wednesday appointment for Thursday. Russ, one of the managers, seemed rude that day. Despite my polite request to change the appointment, Russ responded curtly and asked for my keys. I confirmed I would wait, expecting a swift process. However, they didn't bring in my truck until 40 minutes after the scheduled time. Russ could have informed me of the delay, but such basic customer service seemed beyond him. Around 3:00 PM, Russ called me to the counter while browsing tire options. He claimed my tire tread depth was insufficient and wanted to discuss new tire prices. I assured him my current tread depth was adequate and I planned to replace the tires later. Russ belittled me and abruptly walked away. I returned to my seat, patiently awaiting the flat repair. Another half hour passed, exceeding the reasonable repair time. I wondered if the prolonged wait was due to not purchasing new tires, which would be unethical. Approaching the counter again, Russ made eye contact but attended to other tasks. Fortunately, a helpful woman noticed and offered assistance. I explained my concerns: rescheduling and estimated completion time. Unexpectedly, Russ interjected condescendingly, claiming they were working on the patch and that I lacked sufficient tread depth. His statements were inaccurate and delivered rudely. Having experience in the tire industry, I tried explaining the incorrectness to Russ. This angered him further, leading to a threat to call the police. I calmly requested him to proceed, emphasizing tire reinstallation. The woman intervened, noting the situation's deterioration due to foul language. Russ insisted she cancel my future appointments. I am grateful to avoid vehicle servicing under his employment. The helpful woman explained the repair process and my tread depth. I mentioned the tire removal and patch application. She confirmed the process but couldn't explain why it seemed inadequate in my case. She promptly resolved the repair and reinstalled the tire, allowing me to leave within five minutes. Regrettably, I have been banned from the Firestone in Brooklyn Center for standing up for myself. I expressed frustration inappropriately. It is disheartening to consider the impact on future tire purchases and auto repairs. I will conduct business across the street at Big O Tires, expecting better service than what I experienced at Firestone. Russ exhibited rudeness and unprofessionalism, neglecting to confirm his work. My invoice inaccurately includes the wrong vehicle information. Despite investing two hours at Firestone, the bill for my inconvenience was a mere $28.22. As a result, Firestone not only provided an abysmal customer experience but also suffered financial losses. It appears that they squandered more than just my time. DO BETTER!"
