"I had done a review 3+ years ago and here's an update since then.. My family and I dined there this afternoon around 3pm.. the place was not busy, it was clean, the service was polite and friendly.. I had the all you can eat salad bar which was very good, plenty of items to choose from.. my mom had the chicken tenders meal and said it was very good.. my brother had the cheese curds and eggs Benedict made with breakfast sausage and breakfast potatoes, he said he would order it again.. Keep up the good work!! Would highly recommend to eat at this establishment ** Have eaten here a few other times and the country fried steak meal is very good as well as the pot roast meal.."

"Prices gone up , food quality has gone down. Where's the sausage or at least sausage flavor in the sausage biscuits and gravy? If your going to charge 12 bucks for 2 hard biscuits and "sausage" gravy there at least needs to be some sausage in the mix. Lived up here since 2010 and it was way better back then. The last few times we been there the portions and quality has gone way down and there is hardly ever anyone that seems happy to be working there. Bring back the Ole lake Cafe from years ago. In the end with my meal removed we paid 22 plus tip bucks for 2 pancakes , a side of hash browns , a side of bacon and a coke. Wow just wow."

"Even though looks old the food is not, the portions are big. The pork strips have cheese bits, French fries and son gravy on top that make it perfect, the sandwiches are fresh, the hamburger is a good I ordered with bourbon and was sweet and spicy at the same time so it made a better experience"
