Hey we to im Mexican American love coffee shops too. Bit it's the owner who make my coffee time worth going there. Oh and the Mexican vanilla from Mexico that I've been able to purchase. This takes me back years because we as as family would bring back the same when we'd go visit my moms grandpa. My great grand dad. And cross into Mexico and shop. "The crowds sure are busy in Okoboji. Lines are 45 minutes plus the wait for food. However, if you want a chill, cool, relaxing spot with little wait, Monarch Art Cafe is the place. The music is refreshing, the owner is patient, kind, attentive, personable, and she treats you like family. The food? FRESH and full of flavor! It's homemade with lots of love❤️ ! The coffee? Also amazing. You won't leave disappointed. We came back to eat here again because the food, coffee and service was excellent. We played some games while we waited-also a great place for kids, too! I highly recommend!"

"The staff member who served us was the absolute sweetest, the food was delicious and the two drinks were so flavorful! I forgot to get a photo of my meal but it was great. I did snag a photo of the cutest piece of mini banana bread! The vibe in this place was very calm and artsy! Great place for a catch up with three friends."
