"Some of these guys know what they are doing and some don't, but there prices can rarely be beat. Almost always cheaper than the other guys in town and often with a better warranty too. One time I went in because my key fob wasn't working and I thought the battery might be dead so they took a volt meter and said the battery had 3.1 volts so the key fob was probably junk. I kinda wanted to try a new battery anyhow but they actively talked me out of it. Not that they denied the sale, but really pushed that I'd be wasting my money. Rather than arguing I decided to go to Walmart to get a new battery and sure enough, my remote start has been working great ever since. Just goes to show that just because you have the voltage does not mean you have the amperage. Would think someone in an automotive parts store would know this. But like I said, because of the unbeatable prices, I will continue to go there after doing my own research at home to make sure I get what I need."
