"Upon arriving we were not greeted by staff, we found open seats at the end of the bar and waited a considerably long time to be acknowledged. There were two staff behind the bar but the female completely ignored us the entire time. The environment was so loud you could barely converse with the person next to you. We had to ask for menus, and then we had to ask for silverware.. and once again we had to ask for napkins… because we were never checked on or offered anything… and again we had to get the staffs attention to ask for to go boxes. The whole situation was unpleasant because we felt like we were a bother to the staff… great location and great view of the lake though! Also there was a small child (like 4 years) sitting on a parents laps right up at the bar while they drank several beers.. seemed inappropriate and uncomfortable"
"This is a favorite of ours since moving to the DL area in 2023. We always get the Ruben roles to start, and while my spouse likes to try something new each time -- I always get the Gyro and am never disappointed. The fries here are particularly good and crispy. In the winter months they serve their version of a hot toddy with Russian Tea, which is nostalgic for me personally -- as we used to make Russian tea growing up and always had it on hand. I even order it without the booze sometimes. Great atmosphere for kids, too. Summer nights on the patio are pure bliss, especially when the ice cream stand is open."
"First time hub. I had the patty melt and fries. I thought it was good, although the burger wasn't quite enough for me. It did have a wonderful rye bread , which is important. My wife had a bacon cheese burger. She liked it, same though she thought hers was a little under done also. Instead of fries, she got the beer cheese soup. There was a up charge. She thought the soup was good. It seems to have more chicken broth then a lot of the beer cheese soup she's had in the past. It wasn't overly rich. We thought the meal was good, and we try it again in the future. Add bonus they had Castle Danger Cream Ale. Love the beer."
"Stopped in for lunch yesterday, it was our first time at Hub 41. Due to the weather we had to sit inside. My wife had the shrimp tacos and I had the Gyro sandwich and fries. Both dishes were excellent. They had a good selection tap beer. The service was great and with a smile. There is a great view of the Lake. I recommend."
"Delicious food. Everything on the menu sounds good. The caramelized brussel sprouts are my favorite. We went June 16th for our anniversary dinner and to listen to Matt Aakre so it was extremely busy. Our waitress was super efficient and friendly. Excellent food no matter qhat you order. We sat upstairs on the outside patio and had a gorgeous view of the lake while we ate."
