"Food was good but service wasn't really. The hostess helped us the most and was nice but once she was gone there was no more service. We asked for refills and never got them and were given our check before we could order anything else. It felt they were saying to eat, don't ask for anything else, pay and leave. Very disappointed. We'll probably never go out of our way to stop here again."

"The service and vibe of this place is great! The food is very 'meh' and doesn't taste fresh. I had the 'create your own omelette' with hash browns and sourdough toast. The toast was good, but everything else was taste-less. Added lots of salt and pepper just to give the food some flavor."

"Fast and friendly service, good food. It is in a convenient location too. And it is surprisingly easy to access this restaurant from both east bound and west bound Interstate 94. It was the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before getting back on the road. It's nothing fancy, but it was exactly the kind of food I was hoping for."

"We stopped in on a Saturday and although it was fairly busy we were able to get a table quick and with incredible service. Even though it was during the lunch rush, the restaurant was clean and the server was attentive and kind. It was one of the BEST restaurant experiences we’ve had. The food was amazing, I just wish they had more sweet breakfast options. They have a great seasonal menu along with great breakfast, lunch, and savory options though. We will be making Village Inn a weekly visit after our Saturday errands!"
