"No hot water or heat in our room and the side doors are all unlocked. There were people from the bar hanging out in the hallway obviously drunk they were loud and abnoxious. We went to a different hotel."

"I can start with two fun facts, 1- I remember the movie "The Maze Runner", the inside of the hotel is like a maze, I don't remember how many turns I took to reach my room :), 2- the name of the hotel is not "university inn", in fact you would probably book the university inn but Crookston Inn where you will stay in :). The hotel room was really nice and comfortable and everything worked very well. I think my room and entrances are clean enough(not like some complained because of dirt-soil), since most of the people staying here or in Crookston work in agriculture-related jobs, I don't see any problems with dirt (as others have complained). There is high speed wifi and a nice breakfast in the morning, there is also a bar and other activities you can do with friends. I stayed for one night so I can't say more but it was worth it for me. I gave it 4 starts as I still found hotel prices expensive in Crookston."

"I’m sorry to say that I was extremely disappointed in your hotel. Arriving the entryway was dirty. Our carpet probably wasn’t clean in who knows how long. Walk in your room bare footed and my feet got dirty. This morning getting my coffee before we left. The floor was sticky probably from day before. I’m sorry to say if I’m up in this neck of the woods. I will never stay at your hotel again"

"First of all: this hotel is staffed by honest, great people. BUT: they are extremely poorly trained. I came to town for business and really needed to rest, impossible! You may hang the "do not disturb" sign but they will try to walk in and clean anyway!!! They scared and frustrated me several times. AND: they are LOUD!!!!!!! I would guess it is on the supervisors who put pressure on the staff to have everything spotless instead of on respecting the paying customer. Cleaning is, therefore, performed poorly. There was a wooden chip on the bathroom floor for days, they would not pick it up, I did after a week when I got tired of the game. I left the tv remote on the bed and it ended up in between the sheets after they made the bed. Which tells me they are in a hurry and frustrated. The bathroom has a funky moldy smell around the toilet, I wonder if there's mold somewhere there??? Forget about resting, this is a horribly noisy hotel. Again: no training."
