"Always, always check your bag if you do take out. They will forget things like my potato oles. They will screw up your order. I ordered a stake and potato burrito and got a beef. The beef has onions which i don't eat. I also didn't want sour cream and got sour cream! So, check your order before leaving the restaurant! When my friend got her stake bowl it looked like it didn't have any meat on it."

"I'm not a complainer, but the food was awful. The people were nice. My wife got what was supposed to be a crunchy burrito with something that looked like runny chili and a chip or two crunched on top. I had "super" nachos and two crispy tacos. The nachos were not super and tacos were barely filled. A waste of 20 plus dollars. Unfortunately, we won't be back."

"Service was awesome. People were friendly. Place was trashed. Horrible food - I just paid $8 for the nastiest burrito. Threw it away after a couple bites. I recommend going elsewhere."

"After going to 4 Taco John's - Grand Forks (closed no sign as to why), Fargo (2 - one permanently closed/other) and Moorhead (hours on Google wrong) I still had not managed to get a taco. On my way back to Canada we stopped in Drayton, still trying to get a taco. The system was down and so the gas station and Taco John was not able to sell anything. When I told an employee (manager?) my story of chasing a Taco John Taco, he went and had a taco made for us, on the house. It was a wonderful experience and the long sought Taco John Taco was yummy! Thank you so much."

"New crew is trying hard to both learn and keep up with the rushes. Hopefully they get up to speed in a few months. Looking forward to stopping here many times over the next few years. Great location to stop at prior to heading back into Canada. I ordered the super nachos combo. Git them to load em up with jalapenos, Gaucamole, salsa sour cream, cheese. Basically the works!"
