"Hours online say 24/7. Sign on door says closed between 2am-4am. Went there at almost 5am and they were closed. Might as well stay closed permanently"
"Terrible Herbst is a favorite quick stop out in the Cadence area. The gas prices are a little high but there location is awesome if you live out in cadence. Side note they have Krista Keene donuts so when nothing else will do you can stop by Terrible Herbst and they will hook you up. You can also buy some 12 packs of soda that are already cold."
"Parking lot was full, side door locked for those parked there. 2 people only in the store when arrived inside. Wasn’t greeted. Beer cooler not stocked. Asked if wWendell could check the cooler for Modelo 18 pack. Promptly was told they had none. However there was a stack on the floor. He wouldn’t check the cooler yet the store was Not busy at this time. This store has gone down hill SMH."
"What you are about to read regarding a cashier by the name of Linda at is absolutely vile and disturbing. The contents of this complaint is not for the light hearted. Now, I am not an expert so I will not attempt to label the persons disability. In front of a long line of customers was a disabled person in an electric wheelchair it was very apparent that this person had little to no use of all four limbs. This customer was paying using a card and he asked for Linda's assistance with inserting his card into the chip reader. Linda's response to the customer was "I tell you every time you come in here, I can't be the one to swipe your card." I know most all companies have some policy stating such but I personally have never been reprimanded for assisting a disabled customer in completing a transaction. The second customer in line, whom was with her daughter took it upon themselves to help. Still, 4-6 customers including myself witnessed her continue to belittle this individual. When Linda continued stating "You're gonna have to get some one to do this for you because you can't expect everyone just to help you all the time." She said this with attitude and spoke in a very bitter tone of voice. I would like to say if Terrible's does in-fact have such a policy then this company aught to be ashamed, it's 2019. That being said I am certain that she was creating the problem because once it was paid for she would not even extend her arm to hand him the goods. Being a responsible person and excellent rolemodel for her daughter, once again the second customer in line took it upon themselves to help the man. Just to paint a picture the daughter of the good samaritan had a short haircut. Linda looked them in the face and said "Good afternoon fellas." The lady quickly and kindly corrected her, "Ladies". "Oh", said Linda condescendingly. Due to Linda's inordinate behavior the amount of tension lingering in the atmosphere at that time was thicc. However, each customer kindly went on about their business and treated Linda with respect because she clearly has no respect for herself. Linda did not say much to me personally while I was at the counter. I addressed her by her first name as I walked off and I heard her say, "well isn't that great." Ironically enough, I was only standing there because I stopped what I was doing and used my own money to help some people who were out of gas about a mile down the road and the stupid gas pumps won't take credit/debit. Probably, in hopes that this will cause consumers to impulse buy snacks and whatever other bullspit... again it's 2019 people don't fall for that any more. People want to be treated like human beings regardless of their beliefs, disabilities, or choices in life. When you have people like Linda representing you, not only is it apauling and damaging to the reputation of the brand, it's straight Terrible. According to my receipt, the cashier was Virginia. However, the photo of the person on Linda's name tag was clearly the face I was looking at. Being that Linda claims to know the company policies so well she must of known that she shouldn't have been using Virginia's register. Someone else deserves that job and I seriously think Terrible's should reconsider having hired this Terrible person."
