"My daughter’s team used the field here for softball practice and it’s literally right next to a dog run that smells terrible. So naturally you will get barked at the entire time when dogs are in there. Only about half the field lights worked as well when we were there. Also noticed transients hanging out right in the outfield and one dude rode his bike right thru the middle of their workout! Least favorite place for the girls to practice."
"Good little park near Tempe. We came here in mid-April and they already had the splash pad turned on! My girls liked it!"
"This park has a great history of folks getting to get her on Tuesdays to advocate and outreach the homeless population. They serve dinner, have tents with supplies and toiletries as well as items that are supplied to replenish necessary supplies. The Venus Forward and Back Orbit route will get you right to the park or the regular Metro Bus, depending on your preference! They also have a small splash pad over on the east side of the park that my son just adores!"
"The playground is great. I counted 13 slides total. Foam paths too. The splash pad is good but it's all concrete and so it's slippery. My kid slipped once. Additionally, it's quite sandy from the playground and the wind brings in leaves and so it's not the most comfortable to walk upon barefooted. I won't come back to the splash pad without water shoes."
