"I haven't been down to Supai in 15 years, some mixed reviews on how safe the place is, as long as the BIA police are effective , allow locals in the Havasu campground for CLEAN-UP PURPOSES ONLY during daylight hours, things would probably be OK, too many stories with locals going into campground at night with theft on the agenda- A BIG NO-NO!!!"
"Simply beautiful. Friendly people, and its camping with NO distractions! Waterfalls, hiking, great Indian Tacos, what else can you ask for? Priceless Trip. 2x isn't enough, I hope to go back for round #3 2019 and take my hubby. Finally he realized how much of an awesome~ bucket list~must do trip."
"One of my favorite Hikes for the rest of my life!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE! It's so magical! The water is a blue that you figure must be tropical in nature and figure you must be in the Caribbean rather than Arizona! So what you need to know about this hike. To get to the camp ground is actually closer to 11 miles. 8 miles from the parking lot to the village. Then Supai village is around a mile long and then from there its another 2 miles to the camp ground. So keep this in mind. The first falls you will reach are Havasupai falls and the camping spots are in-between Havasupai falls and beaver falls which is around a mile and a half. There are 3 bathrooms I believe which are pretty nice actually. Beyond this the village has a grocery store, public restrooms and a restaurant that has been epic food. Truly the food is pretty darn good. I had the cheese burger and was not disappointed. Enjoy the beautiful places!! I can't wait to go back!!"
"Second time visiting, and it has changed in the 8 years between. The Rangers are far more pleasant to work with, the camp grounds are more established, picnic tables aren't super-rare anymore, and the bathrooms are conveniently placed. The night views are also absolutely gorgeous. My only issue was the long hike in, but being able to soak my feet in the water after made it worth it. Overall, I'm very excited to come back."
"Call and call and keep calling. In the end you will get a reservation. If you haven't got a reservation, it's not the end. They say the rest of 2016 is booked solid so just show up and pay the "no reservation" fee. I mean serious, why go through the stress. Just go and enjoy this whimsical sacred place while you can. The hike going there is a little tough if you're packing 45lb packs like we did. Overkill. Pack light. There's a general store and cafe so there's tons to buy right before camp. Again. Pack light. Trust me! And bring a walking stick...Happy Trails"
